Charlotte listened intently, noticing how Damon's shoulders seemed to relax slightly at the elder's words. He must be relieved that he didn't have to do this alone anymore.
"I will summon the other elders," Alderic continued. "You're not just asking for help, Damon. You're asking for the Order to interfere directly in the affairs of Suncreast City and its leadership. We need solid evidence before we proceed."
