"Allen, how did you survive? The punches from this old man and Rocks back then weren't light."

Garp walked forward, picking his nose with his hand, looking indifferent.

Allen glanced at him. This old guy wasn't as brainless as he seemed. He had already confirmed Allen's identity, so why was he still testing him?

"Wasn't it you and Roger who finished me off in the end? I crushed Rocks' heart—how could his punch have been light?"

Garp's eyes narrowed slightly, and then he smiled bitterly.

"The sea has been calm for a long time now. Why do you have to come out and stir things up again?"

As a Marine hero, Garp had fought against the current Four Emperors, yet none of them gave him the same sense of oppression that Allen had back then.

What's more, both Whitebeard and Charlotte Linlin had fought Allen before.

How could such a powerful man not stir up chaos when he reappeared?

"Peace? Did you see the two girls with me?"

Allen's face carried a hint of sarcasm as he glanced at Garp with disdain.

"Their hometown is Cocoyasi Village in the East Blue. It's been occupied by a group of pirates who killed their mother eight years ago. They've ruled over several surrounding towns, forcing a child to go out to sea and scam people to earn 100 million Berries. Your Marine branch in the East Blue is in cahoots with them. Go and talk to these civilians about peace."

"I'm afraid the peace you speak of, Vice Admiral Garp, only applies to you strong men and nobles living safely. How many times have you been to the East Blue in the past eight years? Have you dealt with any pirates? Or have you just been busy taking care of your grandson?"

"I said it more than 30 years ago—your Marines are the lapdogs of the nobles."

Garp, who had initially been ashamed by Allen's words, could no longer hold back when he heard about his grandson. When Allen had been besieged, Dragon was just a child. Now, Allen even knew about Luffy's existence?

"Allen, what are you planning? Don't harm my family, and don't you dare touch my grandson!"

Looking at Garp's face, which changed instantly at the mention of Luffy, Allen rolled his eyes.

"Double-standard old man, I've seen both your son and your grandson! That straw hat on his head belongs to Roger, doesn't it? He's been a pirate for a while now. Do you think just because you're willing to be a dog, your descendants are like you, willing to serve the Celestial Dragons?"

Garp ignored Allen's mockery. He was relieved to hear that his grandson was fine. The two men looked at each other, and their bodies disappeared in an instant. The next second, they reappeared in the distant desert.

By now, they were far enough from Rainbase that the aftermath of their battle wouldn't reach the city.

As they faced each other, Allen could clearly feel that Garp's aura was much stronger than when they had fought before—far stronger than even Hawkeye, whom he had met in the East Blue.

Bogard drew his long sword again, staring at Allen in the distance with a tense expression.

"Adjutant Bogard, do we really need to be this prepared? That's Vice Admiral Garp!"

As a man who had "captured" the Pirate King, the Marines on Garp's ship had near-blind confidence in him.

"All those who have trained in Armament Haki, get ready."

Without paying attention to the soldier's question, Bogard issued the order expressionlessly.

How could these recruits understand how terrifying the young man in the distance was? Back then, these Marines hadn't even dared to approach him, only watching from afar.

It wasn't until the world-famous pirate Rocks was killed by this young man and Allen himself was "blasted to pieces" that they dared to rush forward to deal with the remnants of the Rocks Pirates.

"Come on, Allen! Let me challenge you, the strongest man in the world, again!"

As he spoke, Garp leaped into the air, his entire right arm covered in Armament Haki, turning as black as ink.

Allen cracked his neck and stretched out his hand provocatively.

"Before yesterday, my body wasn't in a condition to fight you at full strength. But today, there's no problem!"

The reward from Nojiko had been five drops of hundred-year spiritual essence. Two drops were used to enhance the physiques of the two women, and the remaining three were absorbed and refined by Allen himself.

Although the hundred-year spiritual essence had little effect on his physique, it had another benefit: it healed old injuries that had been difficult to recover from.

Three drops of the essence had completely healed all of Allen's injuries overnight, even clearing the hidden damage left by years of training and battles. Allen was now in an unprecedented state of strength.

"What did you say?"

Still mid-air, Garp heard Allen's muttering and asked casually.

"Nothing!"

As he spoke, Allen's hands moved swiftly. His arm was also coated in Armament Haki, and the two men's fists collided head-on.

The moment their fists met, the violent shockwave blew up all the sand around them, spreading outward in a perfect circle.

"Vice Admiral Garp!"

"Why are they so strong?"

"Who is that guy on the other side?"

The Marines, who had been unconcerned earlier, were now blown off their feet by the shockwave, unable to even stand steady.

Only the officers with decent strength could maintain their footing.

"Hahaha, Allen, you're finally not holding back now!"

Garp laughed, throwing punch after punch at Allen. He hadn't been at a disadvantage during the initial clash—in fact, he'd even gained a slight edge!

Allen casually grabbed Garp's fist, and the two pushed against each other with their elbows simultaneously.

Bang.

This time, Garp's body wavered, and he took two steps back.

"Old man, it's been over 30 years since we last met. Have you forgotten about me already? What makes you think I've used my full strength? Have you forgotten that I'm still a Devil Fruit user?"

Allen looked at Garp. His greatest assets were his fully healed body and his Xuanwu Fruit.

Though he hadn't activated his abilities yet, and hadn't even released his Haki, his mere presence exerted a heavy pressure on the surrounding Marines, as if an invisible force were pressing down on them.

Bogard shifted his stiff posture slightly, a complicated look in his eyes.

This was the king of the seas from back then. Even after so many years, he still possessed this level of power!

"Allen, take this!"

Garp's face was filled with excitement. He leaped high into the air, his arm wrapped in Armament Haki and crackling with thunderous momentum.

"Fist of Impact!"
