Chapter Hundred
He held up a small case. "Specialized laser detection device goggles. You're lucky I even got my hands on these."
She reached for it, but he pulled back slightly, his smirk sharp. "Not so fast. You owe me." Of course, she knew she did.
Her fingers twitched at her side. "What do you want?"
He exhaled, tilting his head slightly. "A shipment of high-grade weapons is moving through the docks in three days. Intercept it. I need what is inside."
She studied him for a moment, then took the case from his hands. "Fine." Whatever happened after she handed the shipment to him would be none of her business.
A slow chuckle escaped from him. "Pleasure doing business."
She turned and walked off without another word.
By the time the car returned, she slipped into the back seat, setting the case beside her as they headed toward the hotel.
Inside, Demir was waiting with his arms crossed. The others were gathered, checking weapons and tools.
