Haruka felt the power of the Kiva armor wrap around him, like a second skin. The gothic, vampiric suit fit him perfectly, making him feel strong and confident in a way he hadn't before. The metal restrainer on his right leg and the fanged mouthguard gave him an imposing, almost regal look.
Haruka watched as Robin examined the Kiva armor, the young vigilante's eyes narrowing slightly. "Interesting choice," Robin commented, his tone neutral. "I wasn't aware you had this particular suit in your arsenal."
Haruka shrugged, a casual gesture that belied the power thrumming through the gothic-inspired suit. "It's new. Seemed fitting for the mission, that's all." He didn't mention that he had just gotten the Kiva armor from the gacha draw. No need to get into the nitty-gritty details.
Robin's eyes narrowed, studying the bat-like design of Haruka's Kiva armor. "Interesting choice," he said, a hint of suspicion in his voice. "Did you deliberately choose a bat-themed armor?"
Haruka shook his head. "Just a coincidence," he replied simply, his voice calm and matter-of-fact.
Robin nodded, his lips pressed into a thin line. "I see." He stepped back, giving the armor a final once-over. "Well, let's get going. Time's wasting."
Haruka fell into step beside the younger hero, the Kivat bat creature fluttering at his side.
Haruka glanced over at Kivat, the bat-like creature fluttering beside him. He couldn't help but wonder if this Kivat was the same one that had partnered with Wataru, the previous Kamen Rider Kiva. Kivat was a living, sentient being, and Haruka couldn't help but be curious about his origins.
Haruka had tried to ask his other Rider companions, Abysslasher and Abysshammer, where they had come from, but all he had received were grunts and growls in response. It seemed they were incapable of speech, unlike the talkative Kivat.
Keeping his voice low, Haruka turned to Kivat and asked, "Kivat, where did you come from? Do you remember Wataru?"
Kivat's glowing red eyes blinked as he considered the questions. "I'm afraid I don't know where I came from," he admitted. "I was asleep for a very long time, and when I woke up, I had all the information I needed about you, Haruka."
Haruka listened intently, relieved that Kivat didn't seem to mind being his partner. "And Wataru? Do you remember him?"
A hint of what might have been nostalgia flickered across Kivat's features. "Yes, I remember Wataru very well. We had many adventures and battles together." He paused, studying Haruka. "But I don't mind being your partner either. I will do my best to assist you, Haruka."
Haruka felt a sense of gratitude towards the bat-like creature. "I see. Then I'll be relying on you, Kivat."
"Rely on me, by all means," Kivat replied, his tone warm. "And who knows, perhaps you will have the chance to meet Wataru someday. I'm sure you two would get along wonderfully."
Haruka pondered the possibility, wondering what it would be like to meet the previous Kiva. Would they be able to learn from each other? He couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement at the prospect.
Before Haruka could respond, Robin's voice cut through the air,
"Hey, what are you two talking about?"
"Nothing." said both Haruka and Kivat.
"Hmph. Keep pace, Rider," Robin chided, his tone laced with mild irritation. "I have no intention of guiding you like a child."
Haruka took one last look at Kivat, silently grateful for the creature's companionship, and followed after the young vigilante.
Haruka followed Robin silently through the dimly lit tunnels, his Kiva armor allowing him to move with stealth. As they approached their destination, Robin suddenly raised a hand, signaling Haruka to stop.
"Quiet," Robin whispered, his eyes narrowing as he peered around the corner.
Haruka obeyed, his enhanced senses straining to pick up any sounds or movement ahead. After a moment, he caught sight of the scene unfolding before them.
A gang of masked individuals, their skulls emblazoned on their faces, were gathered around a series of crates. Haruka's eyes widened as he observed them loading and handling what appeared to be vials of a green serum - Venom, if his suspicions were correct.
Robin's jaw tightened, and he turned to Haruka, his voice barely above a whisper. "This is Bane's operation. We need to shut it down."
Haruka turned to Robin, "What's the plan?"
Robin's lips curled into a smirk. "Kick some butt."
"I can get behind that,"
Without further ado, the two vigilantes burst into the room, ready to take down Bane's henchmen and put a stop to their nefarious activities.
Bane's gang turned to look at the door, and when they saw the bat-armored hero beside Robin, they assumed he was Batman. "It's the bats! Get them!" they shouted, rushing towards the two vigilantes.
Haruka found it amusing that the gang had mistaken him for the Dark Knight.
Haruka and Robin surged forward, ready to confront Bane's gang. Kamen Rider Kiva's crimson armor gleamed as he moved with supernatural speed, weaving through the henchmen's attacks. Robin, agile and precise, lashed out with his staff, knocking the gang members off balance.
The two heroes fought in perfect sync, their movements complementing each other. Haruka unleashed a barrage of kicks, his powerful blows sending the henchmen reeling. Robin, in turn, used his acrobatic skills to gain the high ground, raining down a volley of batarangs that disarmed their opponents.
As the fight raged on, Haruka could feel the power of Kiva coursing through him. He leaped into the air, his cape billowing behind him, and landed a devastating punch that shattered the concrete floor. The impact sent the gang members flying, their cries of pain echoing through the dimly lit tunnel.
Robin's eyes narrowed as he observed Haruka's display of strength. "Impressive,"
Haruka turned to Robin, impressed by the young vigilante's skills. "Not bad yourself," he said, a hint of respect in his voice.
Suddenly, four of Bane's gang members emerged, each clutching a vial of a glowing green serum. Without hesitation, they plunged the needles into their necks, grimacing as the liquid entered their bodies.
Haruka's eyes widened as he watched the transformation unfold. The men's muscles swelled, their frames growing taller and more imposing. Green veins pulsed across their skin, and their eyes took on an eerie, glowing hue.
"Oh boy," Haruka muttered, bracing himself for the onslaught.
