They nodded and walked toward the boys. Skyler pulled Hart to stand behind him and covered him. Two of the men took out guns and the other three had other weapons. One was holding on to a black metal rod and the others had knives. Arjun cursed under his breath and launched at them. Skyler followed him and a fight broke out.
Jezelle was about to say another one of her monologue when I roundhouse kicked right on her arm, holding the gun. The gun flew out of her hand and went under the couch. She screamed and came to attack me, I kicked her on her gut making her fall backwards. That's enough for her. I turned and kicked the one who had chokehold Skyler. I helped them bring down the men but from the corner of my eye I saw Jezelle getting up from her position. As she got up Hart walked up to her and tied her to a nearby table's leg with a scarf.
Finally we overpowered the goons. We all then turned to Jezelle. "Proud of yourself?" she smirked.
"You are unarmed. Even if you try to fight its 1v3, you will lose." I stated. She continued smirking. Then we heard a click from behind. We all turned to see Hart pointing the gun towards us.
"The heck dude?" Skyler snapped.
"Now tell me who is a good boy." She untied the scarf like a piece of cake and walked up to Hart with a smirk. She put one hand on his shoulder and gave a peck on his lips. She slowly dragged her hand from his arm up to the gun, took it from him and turned to us. "What were you saying again, Sam?"
"Stop it." I pleaded. "I don't want to hurt you." She let out an evil laugh, a laugh which sent shivers down my spine. She turned her head towards Hart and whispered something to his ear. He nodded and started walking towards us, his one hand behind his back. Something felt off but then I felt an arm in front of me, he slightly pushed me behind and stood covering me. Hart looked at him with a crooked smile. He stood 5 feet away from us, his eyes locked into Arjun's. Suddenly he blew a punch and kicked him. He dragged Arjun away from me. I was about to attack him when I heard Jezelle clearing her throat.
"Let them have their fun, and I have mine." Her grip on the gun tightened.
"Son of a b—," I turned to see one of the goons lift up Skyler and pulled him away from me. Now I was standing at the gunpoint alone, unarmed. I looked to my left to see Arjun and Hart fighting, to my right Skyler was struggling to free himself from the guy holding him.
"See you in hell," Saying she pulled the trigger. I gasped and closed my eyes as the sound of the gun shot echoed in the room.
"NO!" I heard Skyler's scream.
I didn't feel anything, no pain, no nothing. Was that a headshot? Am I dead? How can I hear voices if I was dead. My heart raced when realization hit. No, please. My eyes flew open and my fear was true. He was standing in front of me like a human shield. The dark brown eyes burned into mine. He kept his word.
"What have you done?"
