I've decided to continue the story, but I need your input. Should I keep going with the current story and break each episode into three parts, making each chapter around 2.5k–3k words? Or should I start fresh with a new version I'll, of course, publish everything up to the point where we were but some changes will be made and shit. I want you guys to vote.
If I continue the current story, the main advantage is that we'll be sticking to what we already started, picking up right where we left off. But the downside is that I've been gone for so long that I do not remember everything that I wrote, so there's a chance of plot holes or forgotten details.
On the other hand, if I start fresh, everything will flow better—no inconsistencies, no forgotten plotlines—but it won't be the same story. It'll be more of a reboot with changes rather than a direct continuation.
So what do you guys think? Vote 1 to continue the current story or 2 to start fresh. Let me know and also add a reasoning to your vote, it would help aswell.
