"Since when were you rich?!" Naruto gaped at him.
"None of your business, Loser." Sasuke handed over the money and card.
With Kakashi paying 24 hours each for Naruto and Sakura, the total came out to be 20,400ryo with the discount. For Sasuke, 100 hours with a discount was a whopping 42,500ryo. Now he feels less poor and can even afford Stardew Valley.
Sakura and Ino practically had hearts in their eyes which made Naruto grimace uncomfortably.
Kakashi had a smug grin at the affection he got from his students.
'I'm such a good sensei, right?' He turned to look at his colleagues only to see their blank faces.
They knew exactly what he was trying to do.
The white-haired Jonin coughed lightly into his fist.
"What's this, Marashi-san?" Choji wandered off and found the Snack Machine. Everyone looked over and the new arrivals looked confused.
"You can buy snacks there," Marashi answered.
Shikamaru took in all the information he had heard thus far and posed a question.
"Are they special in any way?" He asked and the whole room awaited the answer.
Playing games can increase your shinobi prowess so could the snacks here do something similar?
"Yes. They increase your chakra reserves. The amount would go up depending on how expensive it is. For example, Doritos would give the most while ramen would give the least. You can also eat or drink within the game through thought." He informed them and the whole store was silent in shock.
"Doritos?" Choji looked at the screen and chose it while it gave him a choice of flavors. He chose Nacho Cheese and deposited the money.
A bag materialized and he grabbed it.
"Chips?" The Akimichi's eyes lit up as he quickly ripped it open and tried one.
He felt his whole body stiffen in amazement.
"This is the food of the gods." He bought another 5 sealing them into a scroll he had on him. Choji also got a Mountain Dew and tried it.
It was the best. He also got another 3 of those.
His friends were gobsmacked as that was incredibly high praise from a food connoisseur, especially when it came to chips.
They each got a bag of Doritos and Mountain Dew which was 15 people for 250ryo and 150ryo each respectively equaling 6000ryo.
Marashi was then surprised as he got a notification.
[Congratulations on reaching 250,000 Sales! You can now purchase Starcraft II for 250,000CCP!]
He was a bit overwhelmed considering he hadn't even bought Stardew Valley or CS:GO, and now he has Starcraft II. Now that's a hardcore game at the highest levels.
His highest rank in that game was Diamond when he was 15 years old which was pretty trash compared to his friends who had just hit Grandmaster not too long before he ranked up. It was his peak, but he didn't have the gift for it to compete in GM as it was Top 200 in each region.
It is beyond difficult, but back to his current situation.
"Alright, guys. Have fun. I need to work on some games." Marashi leaned back in his chair ready to buy Stardew Valley.
However, that seemed to have the opposite effect from leaving them to their own devices as they became more curious about new games, especially Team 7 who have played both games.
"You have new games?" Sasuke tried to hide the grin on his face but his eyes betrayed his excitement. He knew that new games would mean different aspects of his skills would improve.
"Come on, come on! Tell us, Marashi-san!" Naruto had an intense expression.
Marashi sighed.
"I'm working on Stardew Valley, Counter-strike: Global Offensive, and Starcraft II." He listed off the titles but in actuality, it was to build hype around the latter two.
"What benefits would we get from those?" Tenten asked.
The store owner blinked at the person who asked. Forgot she was even here.
"Stardew Valley would increase Chakra Control, Counter-Strike would improve your chakra reserves, while Starcraft II is entirely focused on spiritual energy and Yin Chakra. You'll find out more once they release." Even though he didn't have them unlocked, he could still view what they would give.
Shikamaru was intrigued by Starcraft II and wondered if it was a game focused on intelligence.
The rest also thought the games sounded cool and the benefits were incredible. Kurenai, Sasuke, Ino, Shikamaru, Sakura, and Kakashi were interested more in Starcraft II since they either had a Sharingan, needed to awaken one, develop their Genjutsu and Medical Ninjutsu, while Ino and Shikamaru liked the idea of increasing spiritual energy and Yin Chakra.
After that explanation, they went off towards the computers while the Jonin senseis got together.
"What mode do you think we should play?" Asuma asked.
"Maybe Search and Destroy or should we start them off simpler like Capture the Flag?" Kurenai discussed.
"I think Search and Destroy would be good. Since there are four of us, we can have four against four and can change the matchups." Kakashi suggested.
"YOSH! THAT SOUNDS YOUTHFUL TO ME KAKASHI!" Guy shouted with a thumbs up.
"Let's go with that then." Asuma and the others went off to their PCs next to their students and booted up COD.
They all launched Multiplayer while Kakashi and his colleagues figured out how to invite their own teams to their lobbies.
Each lobby had a team and they sat in some kind of waiting room with couches and a screen in front of each player.
Kakashi noticed that he couldn't actually find a game until they create a class.
"Alright, team. Create a loadout on the screen so we can start. Choose what you want and share with the class, okay? Let's see if we can find some combinations and perks to enhance our teamwork." Kakashi gave instructions to his team and they opened their screens to a few selections.
They all saw that there we five classes if they wanted to go with different setups. There was even a notice that you can switch your class if you die which added another layer of complexity since you didn't know if your opponents would have a whole different setup or strategy the next time you face them.
Now it was time to start making their selections.
[Naruto]
He looked through the guns seeing many that were locked and grayed out, but that made him more excited as to what they could be. Scanning through the assault rifles, the m16 was a three-round burst which didn't sound exciting as spraying, but the AK-47 was cool.
The next options were SMGs which had the MP5 that he liked but there was also the Skorpion and noticed the high fire rate; it excited him, but he kept looking.
Shotguns sounded cool, but he kept looking and his eyes had stars for what he saw next.
LMGs practically called out to him as he imagined laying down the fire and being a presence on the battlefield, so he instantly picked the SAW instead of the RPK since it had a higher fire rate.
He didn't really care about the sidearm since there were only two options so he chose the bigger one that was the USP-45. There was an option for a silencer, but then realized it would decrease the power so he didn't equip it.
Next was equipment and he definitely wanted flashbangs so he picked it up.
Now he had to decide on his perks and like Marashi said, there were three different trees to pick from. He couldn't just pick three from one tree, but one from each.
The first tree had him excited at all the explosive options and picked RPGs so he could shoot rockets. How is that not awesome?
With the second tree, he became a bit more contemplative between choosing more explosive damage, more health, or more bullet damage, but ultimately chose more bullet damage.
Finally, the third tree, he instantly knew what to pick: Deep Impact. It will allow him to have better bullet penetration through materials such as walls and certain kinds of cover.
He was happy with his choice but went back to his LMG to look at something he briefly saw.
There were options to put on a camo. He pressed on the Camo icon and saw two choices. One was a Gold and the other just had question marks. The former required 1000 headshots and the latter 5000. He really wanted a shiny big gun so he finished up his selection.
[Sasuke]
Going through the selection, he chose the AK-47 since it sounded powerful along with the USP, but didn't attach the silencer since it would reduce the damage.
The equipment had good options but ultimately chose the flashbang since it'd be easier to get kills if his opponents were blind. Smoke grenades also sounded nice, but not what he was going for.
You get one frag grenade no matter what so he felt that he didn't need to get stuns when he could instead go for flashes.
For perks, he chose the Special Grenades for three flashes since he didn't feel like setting traps and felt that it would overcomplicate things if he had to stop shooting and pull it out along with a remote detonator. Next, he chose Stopping Power for more bullet damage, and finally, Deep Impact to have more damage through cover and walls.
That was it from him.
[Sakura]
She carefully looked over through the options and the Sniper Rifles felt like her calling as she supported her team from afar like she would with either Genjutsu or learning Medical Ninjutsu. It fits in her eyes at least. Along with that, she chose the M9 for a sidearm.
Smoke grenades sounded perfect for her since she could cover herself in case she got spotted and moved to a different location.
Next, she chose the C4 explosive since she could hide them in case enemies were to storm her position. The Special Grenades would have been nice more a third smoke but it clearly stated that it didn't apply to smokes.
The second perk she selected was Stopping Power which made sense considering she's using a sniper and could also help if her opponents had the Juggernaut perk. For the last, she picked Deep Impact in case they hid behind cover.
[Kakashi]
He was immediately drawn to the MP5 especially since it could be silenced along with the USP-45 so he chose both with the suppressor.
Smoke grenades would be great to get out of tricky situations if he were spotted.
The white-haired man went for a more shinobi-esque approach and favored stealth. He was in the ANBU for years so it made sense to him to choose this playstyle.
C4 also served as a great distraction and could even cover for his retreat or set them up in high-traffic areas, but he'd have to know more about the arenas they'd be playing in to fully utilize the explosives that way. He felt that Juggernaut would be a good choice considering it could help him survive if he was caught out and even cancel out Stopping Power.
For the last perk, the obvious choice for him was Extreme Conditioning as it'd help him move around the map faster and retreat from dangerous situations.
This playstyle was more like hit-and-run ambushes so he prioritized escape perks and equipment to make it out. His suppressed weapons would also make it harder for his opponents to tell where the gunfire was as well.
+++
They all finished and Kakashi didn't even have to question them since it showed their classes right about their heads. In this version, you can select a primary class and it shows up in the lobby.
Kakashi was surprised as it seemed all their classes meshed well together. Sakura with support from long-range. Sasuke is a solid front-liner. Naruto with laying down suppressing fire makes their opponents concerned about facing him head on and that mixes well with his hit-and-run style to pick off snipers or hide behind cover by getting around them.
"This looks good. Let's get started." Kakashi invited them all to a Game Speak call to stay in communication while chatting with Guy's team to see if they were ready for a match.
Team 7 vs Team Guy and Team 8 vs Team 10 is what they decided to start off.
"Hey, Kakashi-sensei! Did you see the cool Gold camo?" Naruto grinned. "1000 headshots with a gun and you get it!"
They all looked surprised and went back and saw the camo button and saw the requirement along with another hidden camo.
"Hmm, that's something." Kakashi didn't really care but it would at least be nice to look at.
Sasuke thought the same but Sakura thought it'd be pretty.
The Uchiha looked through the screen and saw The Bingo Book tab and pressed it. There was no one on it but to the side showed his own rank.

His eye twitched.
"Look at The Bingo Book option." That's all that needed to be said.
The others looked intrigued and selected it before they also had the same expression.
"Is Marashi-san messing with us?!" Naruto crossed his arms in anger.
Kakashi looked a bit further and saw something in the corner and selected it. What popped up was the experience needed for the next level along with what it would look like.
He had a tick mark on his forehead at what he saw.
Dead Last

"Then you wouldn't like what happens when you see what's in the corner." Kakashi shook his head in exasperation.
Their eyes narrowed and looked.
They were not happy.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Naruto felt like crashing out.
Before he could, Kakashi got a message.
Guy's team was ready.
