Just then the door bell rang. "We are home." came the voice of Arthur. All the children rushed towards the door excited to meet their new baby brother. Pandora and Percy slowly followed behind them. There they were standing with Molly carrying the baby in her arms.
Molly cradled her newborn, Ron, in her arms, beaming with pride. Arthur, her husband, could not stop smiling as he gazed at his tiny, red-haired son. The whole Weasley family fawned over Ron, marveling at his tiny finger and toes.
"Why is he so tiny?" asked George, "Why does he not have any hair"? asked Fred both looming over the baby with curious eyes.
Hearing this Molly, Arthur and Pandora started laughing. Molly then told them "All babies are born small, when the both of you were born you two were this small too"
"Ohhhhhhhh!!!" said the twins, after intaking this newfound knowledge their little mouths forming an 'o' shape.
"What is his name?' asked Bill the eldest of the Weasley Children.
"His name is Ronald Bilius Weasley" answered Arthur with a smile tucked on his face.
"That's such a sweet name" said Pandora cooing, while taking the baby from Molly's hand's.
"Bilius? Why does he have Bill's name?" said Fred looking at his parent's with confused eyes.
All the adults laughed at this silly comment of Fred. Arthur smiled a little and explained to him that those were two different names.
"Will he also have red hair like us?" asked George. "Yeah he will also have red hair just like all of us" replied Molly.
"Oh!!! It's just that I wanted a baby brother with blue hair" said Fred and George in unison.
The entire room burst out laughing hearing the two's word's.
"Well this call's for a celebration, doesn't it? said Pandora. "Of course in fact let's have one tomorrow itself" said Arthur "I will go and invite the others, you and Xenophilius are invited too."
"We will make sure to attend it" said Pandora with a smile on her face. '"Also Molly make sure to tell me if you ever need any help babysitting this little one, I would love to spend some time with this little cutie" after saying this she took her leave.
Molly went to her room with little Ron so that the two of them can take some rest. Arthur started making a guest list on whom to invite and started making preparations for the welcome party.
Molly also helped him a little afterwards by taking charge of the party planning, ensuring every detail was perfect.
The living room was adorned with balloons, colorful strips of paper and ribbon making the place look beautiful. A "Welcome Ron" banner was hung at one side of the room making it look even more gorgeous.
The kitchen was filled with the delicious aroma of Molly's famous treacle fudge, sandwiches, turkey and many more items. In the middle of it all was a huge cake with red and white icing on top of it, with the words "Welcome Ron written on it".
The guest list included James and Lily Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Hagrid, Pandora and Xenophilius Lovegood and Madam Rosmerta as well.
As the guests started to arrive they were greeted by the Weasley children, with Fred and George trying to help with the party preparations, causing mischief and laughter. While Bill, Charlie and Percy proudly showed off their 'big brother' skills.
Fred and George began an impromptu game of exploding snap, their giggles and shouts mingling with the music.
Arthur and Molly welcomed the guests with a emotional speech thanking everyone for their love and support and with Arthur's heartfelt toast they welcomed Ron to the family, also expressing gratitude to their friends.
As soon as Ron made his first public appearance, everyone cooed and aahed at the baby's tiny features and gestures.
Hagrid gave one of his signature cakes as a gift, while the Potters gave baby essentials, Sirius gave him a toy broom which although little Ron could not use for now but would surely become one of his favourite toys in the future. Remus gave him a onsie for baby's.
The room resonated with laughter and love as the guests celebrated the newest addition to the Weasley family.
The party also included some snacks, homemade treats, candies and handmade cards from the Weasley children.
Everybody had lot's of fun especially with James and Sirius sharing some tales of their antics during their school time in Hogwarts.
The Burrow's walls seemed to expand, embracing the love and laughter that filled the space. Ron, sensing the happiness surrounding him, slept peacefully, his tiny chest rising and falling with each contented breath.
They then had their lunch with all of them enjoying the delicious food made by Molly. While having their dinner they enjoyed heartfelt conversations with each other.
As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over "The Burrow" the party came to a close.
As the party came to a close, Arthur looked around at the happy faces, feeling grateful for the love and support by his friends surrounding his family.
Molly and Arthur then made a emotional thank-you speech which was met with applause and tears of joy as she cradled Ron in her arms, basking in the warmth of the moment.
The burrow was filled with laughter, love and magic the perfect welcome for little Ron Weasley. The warmth and joy of the day will forever be remembered by the members of the Weasley family.
As the last guests departed, Molly and Arthur sat together, holding their precious newborn, feeling blessed and content.
