Part 2: Easter Dorm Wars
The next few hours were a blur of activity, a symphony of glitter, glue, and the occasional explosion. (Thankfully, Bakugo managed to contain his 'Explosive Easter' vision to controlled bursts of confetti.)
Mina's room quickly transformed into a vibrant, gooey wonderland. Slime dripped from the ceiling, forming shimmering, multi-colored stalactites. Her Easter eggs looked like miniature alien pods, pulsating with an unsettling, yet somehow charming, glow.
Jiro's dorm was a stark contrast. Black and purple eggshells adorned her walls, held together by strategically placed safety pins. The air thrummed with the distorted chords of her "Punk Rock Spring" playlist. A disembodied Easter bunny head, painted with skull makeup, hung menacingly above her desk.
Kaminari's room flickered and buzzed with electricity. He'd rigged up a series of LED lights that pulsed in time with the music, casting an eerie glow on his collection of shockingly punny Easter decorations. A sign reading "Ohm My Bunny!" hung above his bed.
Sero's dorm was a testament to the versatility of tape. Intricately woven tapestries of tape bunnies adorned the walls, and his Easter eggs were meticulously wrapped in layers of colorful duct tape. He'd even created a dispenser that dispensed candy with the pull of a carefully placed piece of tape.
Kirishima's "Manly Easter" was a surprisingly heartwarming display of strength and… tenderness. He'd built a miniature obstacle course for his candy-filled eggs, complete with rope bridges and tiny weightlifting stations. The whole room was decorated in a color scheme of red and black, naturally.
Bakugo's dorm seemed like a war zone. Scraps of paper littered the floor, remnants of his numerous failed confetti cannon prototypes. Glitter clung to every surface, a sparkling testament to his explosive decorating style. Eggs painted with angry faces glared from every corner.
As the afternoon wore on, the decorating intensified. The Bakusquad, fueled by sugar and caffeine, began to venture out of their dorms, engaging in a friendly, yet fiercely competitive, rivalry.
Mina, armed with a slime gun, ambushed Kaminari, covering him in a sticky, iridescent goo. Kaminari retaliated by overloading her speaker system, blasting a jarring mix of electronica and bunny-themed pop songs.
Jiro, inspired by the growing chaos, began tagging the hallway with spray-painted Easter-themed graffiti. Sero, ever resourceful, used his tape to create elaborate traps, ensnaring unsuspecting passersby in a sticky web of festive cheer.
Kirishima and Bakugo engaged in an impromptu egg-dyeing competition, each trying to create the most aesthetically pleasing (and explosive) Easter egg. Bakugo, of course, declared himself the winner, even though his eggs mostly resembled tiny, glitter-covered grenades.
The dean, Professor Aizawa (or Eraserhead) eventually arrived, his usual grumbling even more pronounced. He surveyed the scene of festive destruction with a weary sigh.
"What in the name of all that is holy is going on here?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
The Bakusquad, momentarily cowed by Aizawa's presence, mumbled a collective apology.
"We were just... celebrating Easter," Kirishima explained, hoping his earnestness would diffuse the situation.
Aizawa pinched the bridge of his nose. "Celebrating? This looks more like a biohazard zone mixed with a DIY explosion."
"It's all in good fun, Aizawa-sensei!" Mina chirped, offering him a slime-covered Easter egg.
Aizawa recoiled. "Keep that... thing away from me."
He sighed again, his shoulders slumping. "Just... clean it up. Before President Nezu sees this. And try to keep the explosions to a minimum, Bakugo."
With that, he turned and walked away, leaving the Bakusquad to their chaotic revelry.
As twilight painted the sky, the Bakusquad gathered in the hallway, surveying their handiwork. The Aldera College dorms had been transformed into a surreal, Easter-themed wonderland, a testament to their friendship, their creativity, and their shared love of controlled chaos.
"Well," Mina declared, beaming, "I think we officially started a new Aldera College tradition!"
The others nodded in agreement, a sense of camaraderie washing over them. They knew that college would bring new challenges, new experiences, and new friends. But they also knew that no matter what happened, they would always have each other, and a shared love of celebrating holidays in the most over-the-top, explosive, and utterly unforgettable way possible.
And as the echoes of Jiro's punk rock Easter carols faded into the night, the Bakusquad knew that this was just the beginning of their Aldera College adventure. And it was going to be one hell of a ride.
