Chapter 451: True Resolve - Obito

Naruto: The Invincible Ninja with Maxed Affection

"Why do you think everyone would willingly accept an illusory world of infinite dreams, Obito?"

Haneda entered Sage of Six Paths Mode, his white robe flowing as Truth-Seeking Balls orbited him.

At this moment, his true strength was no longer hidden: Rinnegan combined with Tenseigan, the dual powers of the Sage of Six Paths!

With cold, pale purple eyes and the radiant brilliance of his third eye, Haneda gazed at Obito atop the Divine Tree.

The battlefield fell silent for a fleeting moment, only to erupt with fervor shortly after.

"It's the Fifth Hokage! The God of Shinobi! Uchiha Haneda!!"

"Rumors say the strength of the new God of Shinobi far surpasses the First Hokage. The Fifth Hokage will surely save us!!"

The once-dispirited Allied Shinobi Forces were suddenly reinvigorated.

Not only the ninjas from Konoha and Amegakure but also those from Iwagakure, Kumogakure, Kirigakure, and Sunagakure shared their excitement.

While Konoha didn't fully comprehend Haneda's immense power, their former enemies knew all too well.

He was a symbol of absolute strength—an invincible god!

Madara, who had initially planned to deal with Obito, paused, turning his attention to Haneda.

The variable he had regarded as the greatest threat was finally making his move.

It was no surprise that Haneda had awakened the Rinnegan, but his progress far exceeded Madara's expectations.

The third eye on Haneda's forehead, the Tenseigan, emanated a faint chakra that made Madara tremble.

"What a massive chakra!"

"Even stronger than Hashirama!"

Suppressing his burning desire for battle, Madara chose to retreat into the shadows.

The current situation had spiraled beyond his expectations, forcing him to be cautious. Though a battle maniac at heart, Madara was also a cunning schemer.

Meanwhile, Tobirama's scientific curiosity flared as he glanced at Kakashi.

Having been a constant observer of the dynamics between Hashirama and Madara, Tobirama had a deep understanding of bonds.

He believed Kakashi might have an answer.

"Kakashi, what is that?"

Seeing Haneda's Tenseigan, Kakashi realized there was no need for Haneda to conceal his power any longer. He explained:

"Legend has it that the Sage of Six Paths had a younger brother named Ōtsutsuki Hamura. The Senju, Uchiha, and Uzumaki clans are descendants of the Sage, Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo, while the Hyūga are said to be descended from Hamura—possibly along with the Kaguya clan."

"The Sage's Rinnegan is called the 'Eye of the Sage.' Hamura's eyes, equally powerful, are called the Tenseigan, capable of both destruction and creation."

"Haneda has mastered both the Rinnegan and Tenseigan. He surpasses even the Sage of Six Paths."

Tobirama thought to himself: So, it's true after all.

He had always suspected Haneda wouldn't let Obito continue unchecked without a plan in place.

Tobirama said, "A naturally virtuous Uchiha genius. I was right about you all along!"

"The rest is up to you young people."

At the same time, Kakashi's words were heard by all.

Madara's expression turned cold. He didn't doubt Kakashi's explanation.

No one understood the power of bonds better than Madara, and Kakashi had no reason to lie now.

However, Kakashi's account seemed to differ slightly from what Madara knew...

Obito, now facing Haneda directly, understood the latter's intentions. Haneda didn't wish to fight but sought to persuade him.

Yet Obito, resolute in his desire to enact the Infinite Tsukuyomi, had a similar goal—to stall for time.

Haneda's voice echoed once more.

"Why do you think everyone would willingly accept an illusory world of infinite dreams, Obito?"

Obito retorted, "And what gave you, as the Fifth Hokage, the right to believe the people of the Land of Fire would accept a world without a daimyo?"

Haneda replied, "I believe in progress. When the old order no longer serves the majority, it is destined to be overthrown. Society will advance because of it."

Obito countered, "Your answer is the same as mine. I, too, firmly believe I'm right. I understand clearly what the Infinite Tsukuyomi can bring to humanity, and I walk steadfastly toward that ideal.

"No matter how great the storms or how painful the thorns, even if the path leaves me battered and scarred, I will walk it unwaveringly.

"Neither friends, teachers, nor anyone who stands in my way can stop me.

"My resolve is unshakable because I know what I truly want and what my ideals are!"

Haneda frowned. The situation wasn't playing out as expected.

Why was Obito's will so strong? How was he supposed to talk-no-jutsu his way out of this?

Haneda spoke again, "All human fantasies are grounded in reality. Fantasies have limits, but human desires do not.

"When desires exceed the boundaries of reality-based fantasies, even the most beautiful dreamscape will collapse.

"And there's a fatal flaw in the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

"Newborn infants, with no understanding of the world—how can they possibly find the illusionary world beautiful?"

Obito scoffed, arguing, "The Infinite Tsukuyomi I've created encompasses all people. If it includes everyone, what purpose does the so-called real world serve?

"This illusionary world encompassing all is, in essence, a new reality. Your argument doesn't hold.

"As for newborns, the Infinite Tsukuyomi can construct a world resembling reality.

"No matter how despicable their parents may be—drunkards, gamblers, criminals—within the illusion, those parents and the environment will adhere to moral standards.

"Wouldn't children growing up in such an environment have a better life?

"Do you wish for them to face the harsh realities we shinobi endured—graduating school only to head to battlefields, working to earn a living, and leading meaningless lives?

"Haneda, you're too naive!

"Only the Infinite Tsukuyomi can save those in pain and bring happiness to everyone!"

At this point, Obito asked Haneda a question:

"You mention infants, but what about the wicked? Wouldn't a world of absolute morality and order be cruel to them?

"When you create order to protect the sheep from wolves, isn't that cruelty to the wolves, who may starve as a result?

"This world is binary—either the sheep perish, or the wolves do.

"But the Infinite Tsukuyomi can accommodate both.

"It's a world of happiness for everyone."
