Chapter 50 - What The Hell Did Lin Moyu Do?

At a distance of fifty or sixty meters, the monsters spotted Lin Moyu.

With a synchronized roar, they charged at him.

There were only ten monsters—not a huge number.

Lin Moyu's eyes gleamed as his detection spell flew out.

[Filin Orc Warrior]

Level: 15

But that was it—no further information. No attributes, no skills.

This was the first time his detection spell returned such minimal data.

Lin Moyu glanced at their long tails dragging behind. The Filin orc warriors resembled massive upright lizards.

Their roars echoed throughout the battle space, drawing the attention of nearby orc teams. In an instant, several groups of Filin orcs appeared on the horizon, all converging on him.

If it were another profession, they would need to tactically face off against the nearest group of orcs, unleash powerful burst skills to take down a few, and retreat before the others could close in. That would be the smart, roundabout tactic for most people.

But Lin Moyu wasn't like the others.

His three Skeleton Warriors sprang into action, charging at the approaching orcs with brutal efficiency. The first few orcs fell under the skeletons' relentless attacks, but none were completely killed—merely left on the brink of death.

"Hmm, no one-hit kills?"

Lin Moyu raised an eyebrow. The orcs' physical resilience was higher than he'd expected, though their strength wasn't particularly impressive.

"Strong physique, but weak attack power."

His assessment was quick and sharp. It didn't matter, though. If one hit wasn't enough, then two would suffice.

A second wave of attacks from the skeletons dropped the orcs to the ground, dead.

Lin Moyu's score instantly shifted, jumping from 3605 to 3655 points.

In the control room, the examiners noticed the change in his score.

"Lin Moyu's begun his assault."

"That was fast. Already got one."

Then the score shifted again—this time dramatically—leaping from 3655 to 4105 points in one go.

The examiners stared at the scoreboard, bewildered.

"What the... how did it jump by so much?"

The skeleton warriors had killed one of the Filin orcs, and Lin Moyu followed up with a Corpse Explosion.

With a deafening boom, the remaining orcs were obliterated in a single blast.

Ten Filin orcs, worth a total of 500 points.

But instead of advancing, Lin Moyu stood still, waiting.

More orcs were approaching, drawn by the noise.

There were nine fresh corpses on the ground. No need to chase down enemies—he'd let them come to him.

But something unexpected happened. The corpses sank into the pitch-black ground, disappearing as if absorbed by the earth.

The bodies vanished within mere seconds.

"Hmm, so that's how it works," Lin Moyu muttered to himself. "Guess I'll need to adjust my strategy."

As more orc teams rushed in from different directions, Lin Moyu summoned more Skeleton Warriors—nine in total.

Each skeleton targeted a different team of orcs, taunting them and leading them together, slowly grouping the monsters into one large cluster.

After two minutes, nearly a hundred Filin orcs were gathered in one place.

The skeletons attacked simultaneously, felling a few orcs at once, causing the others to roar in rage.

In an instant, Lin Moyu unleashed seven or eight Corpse Explosions.

The ground trembled, and the orcs were wiped out in a series of deafening blasts.

Lin Moyu's score skyrocketed to 8605 points.

In the control room, the examiners were once again thrown into confusion.

"What in the world did Lin Moyu just do?"

"How did his points jump like that?"

"Who knows? We can't see the action in the battle space."

"But he just went from 3605 to 8605—exactly a 5000-point increase."

"Looks like he wiped out the first wave of 100 monsters. But how? We have no idea."

The examiners exchanged puzzled glances.

"Even with his skills, how does a level 16 guy pull this off?"

Killing 100 monsters at once seemed absurd, even for the most powerful players.

Elemental mages, like Xia Xue, were steadily climbing in points—50, maybe 100 points at a time. There was no comparison to Lin Moyu's explosive leap in just a few minutes.

Ning Xuanfeng, more composed than the others, still couldn't hide his intrigue. His eyelids twitched.

"What did this kid just do?"

"What kind of power does a necromancer like him truly wield?"

"Where does his potential end?"

Ning Xuanfeng's thoughts spun with one question after another.

He was as curious as anyone, but unfortunately, even his authority wasn't high enough to see the battle unfold. All they could do was monitor the points and make educated guesses.

Back in the battle space, Lin Moyu watched as the corpses of the orcs disappeared into the earth.

The next wave of monsters would arrive soon. This time, he wouldn't need to wait long like in the previous rounds.

No sooner had that thought crossed his mind than a sense of danger surged through him.

The sky turned crimson, and dozens of fireballs, each a meter wide, descended from above like meteors.
