POV Rio
I was heading to Belsavis with the other Force wielders. Or, more accurately, those that could be trusted. We had just finished the previous task. We combined our powers to send Kessel into the nearest Star. We had also helped resettle the several hundred million slaves that were recently freed. Once the World Razer was dealt with, I was going to have a meeting with Cham Syndulla. I wanted to try and convince him to join the Imperium. The planet they called home was a barely habitable wasteland. I prepared all sorts of evidence and information to try and convince him to join the Imperium and end the never-ending struggle of the Twi'leks.
Ship: "We have arrived at our destination."
I leave the ship and gather all the Force Wiedlers together so we can go over the plan.
Rio: "Okay, so the plan is simple and yet requires everyone to do their part. The World Razer is severely weakened from tens of thousands of years without sustenance. But they are still powerful. I will teach those of you who don't know the specific technique we will use. This technique is designed to break apart its soul so it can be sealed away piece by piece. The World Razer will try to convince you to betray each other in exchange for knowledge or power. Ignore it. Once the soul of the World Razer has been dealt with, its body will start to become unstable. Which will lead to the destruction of this planet. But don't worry; we have a way out. But we should not tell it that because then it might become truly desperate. Any questions?"
No one raises their hands, so we make our journey through the ruins. We had already scavenged the entire planet and completed the excavation. Now, all that was left was to go to the sealed chambers and start the ritual. As soon as we arrived, the voice of the World Razer spoke to us.
World Razer: "So you have come at last. I have been stuck here for so very long. If you release me, I will grant you the knowledge on how to build and use the Rakatan Infinite Empires technology."
We ignore him and surround his cage. Then we connect to each other and start the ritual. It doesn't take long for the World Razer to notice something off.
World Razer: "What are you doing? This isn't how you release me. You need to use the terminal on the southern wall."
The ritual starts the first phase, and we tear a chunk of its soul out.
World Razer: "AHHHHHHHH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU DARE HURT ME!"
We ignore him and continue. After we tear several chunks off, the cave starts to shake.
World Razer: "STOP THIS AT ONCE! IF YOU DON'T STOP, YOU WILL ALL BE BURIED HERE! THE PLANET WILL COLLAPSE!"
Rio: "That is a sacrifice we are willing to make."
World Razer: "ARE YOU INSANE! YOU CANNOT KILL ME! I HAVE EXISTED FOR EONS! YOU ARE ONLY KILLING YOURSELVES WITH NO REWARD!"
The planet starts to shift as we have only a few more chunks of soul left to seal in Azura's Star. The voice of the World Razer is now only a whisper. It has also seemingly given up on resisting, as it can no longer stop us. Once we took the final soul chunk the entire cavern satarted to collapse.
Rio: "Everyone gather around me."
They all run over to me. They were all exhausted, but none of them hesitated. Once they gathered and I was certain everyone was there, I took out a small detonator. Then I hit the button on top and we were all sucked into a vortex. We reappeared in a specialized area on a ship that was left in the system. Once we appeared, the ship left the system, and we all started to relax.
Rio: "Congrats to everyone here. We have successfully saved many lives."
I hear some cheers, but most aren't that loud. Then, after the shout, everyone fell asleep as the ritual was extremely exhausting. Even I was fairly tired but I knew I still had things to do. So I got up and went to my Arwing and prepared to head to Ryloth.
Several Days Later...
I was on one of the Consular-Class Cruisers, and we were heading to a meeting with the Rebel Alliance. With me were Mace Windu and Padme. This meeting was to settle the plan for the Battle of Endor. Once we arrived at the meeting point, our ship docked with a CR90. We walked on the ship and entered the meeting room.
Ackbar: "Glad you could make it Rio. And it is an honor to meet you again, Master Windu. And I believe that you should be a former Senator to Naboo Padme Amidala. But I was certain you died."
Padme: "It's complicated."
Mothma: "Greetings to all of you. I believe we should start."
Rio: "Indeed. First, I must ask, do you know that Endor is a trap?"
Ackbar: "We considered it a possibility. But we didn't know anything concrete. Any spies we once had were killed shortly before arriving at Endor. All we know is that the second Death Star is being built there and that a fleet is also present. But we have no idea how large it is or what it is made up of."
I enter a datachip, and a holgram of the Endor system is shown. I sense all the people here besides those I brought, were very upset about what they saw.
Ackbar: "We can't possibly defeat such a fleet. We don't have the numbers. Even if we called everyone we could, we would only manage to collect, at most, 350 warships. Many would be armed civilian ships."
Lando: "But we can't let Empire finish the Death Star. If they do so, we won't get another chance at destroying it. The Empire aren't idiots; they will have fixed its original flaw."
Ackbar: "What would you have us do? Even if we brought everyone we could, we would be lucky to destroy the Death Star before they wipe us out. Not to mention the planetary shield that is protecting the Death Star. We would have to land troops on the Forest Moon."
Mothma: "Perhaps the Commonwealth can help?"
Lando: "Unlikely. They barely let us pass through their territory. From what I have heard, they are solely focused on defense, not offense. We might be able to get some volunteers, but that would be about it."
Rio: "That is why we are here. We can help. I have uploaded a virus on one of the two Super Star Destoyers at Endor. We will also attack the enemy's rear line while you and our starfighters draw their attention forward. The SSD will then attack when the enemy is least expecting it. While they will outnumber us, we can still feasibly win."
Ackbar: "How many ships will you bring?"
Rio: "400 Capital ships of various designs. All retrofitted to be up to current standards. 80k Vulture Droids. And we will send 80 starfighters with your fleet. Including myself. And while the Vulture Droids are outdated, I have seen that their combat AI is upgraded enough that they will not be useless."
Ackbar: "But we would still need to get troops on the ground. And they would need to do so several days or even weeks prior to our attack."
I switch the holgram to show the ground forces.
Rio: "I have already weakened the Empire's ground forces. That, and I have an alliance with the Ewoks on the Moon. We made an agreement as I helped them get rid of serious threats to their species, and in exchange, I got some items I wanted and their aid with dealing with the Empire. The Empire used to have over 100k troops on the planet, but after I was done with them, they only had around 19k. And they lost most if not all of their walkers and tanks."
Lando: "How would we get our troops to the moon? The Empire is far more strict than it used to be. They stop everyone for searches, even Imperial ships with the proper codes."
Mace: "We can help with that. We will get as many troops on the ground as you require. However, we won't have any troops to spare as we will be doing an operation at the same time."
Lando: "What could be more important than Endor?"
Mace: "We will be attacking Coruscant."
Ackbar: "Are you sure that is wise? That system is heavily fortified. And we will need all the ships you have for Endor."
Rio: "We won't be attacking their space forces. We will do the same we will do for you and get our troops on Coruscant without being noticed. We have captured a massive stockpile of Imperial heavy weapons, walkers, and tanks. It should cause enough chaos to achieve our objectives."
Lando: "Okay, let's say we get on Endor without being discovered. We would still need to call up most of our troops. Our armed forces are not massive. If it fails, the Rebellion will be finished."
Rio: "Yes, but if you succeed, the Empire will disintegrate. The Empire only holds the Core and Deep Core. Even the Emperor has fled Coruscant and is on the second Death Star. So if you succeed, the leadership of the Empire will be wiped out. Moreover, we have dealt with Darth Vader. And most of the Emperor's enforcers. The armed forces of the Empire are concentrated in 3 locations. Endor, Coruscant, and the backup capitial Bastion."
They looked surprised about the info I just gave them.
Ackbar: "Bastion? I haven't heard of any planet called that."
Rio: "It's because it's a top-secret planet in the Outer Rim. It is even home to the last Grand Moff. Ardus Kaine. The Emperor has sent many resources there. Including most of the remaining Defense Platforms the Galaxy has. Even Coruscant only has 8 Golan-IIs left and nothing else."
Mothma: "So they have all but abandoned Coruscant?"
Padme: "Mostly yes. But Palpatine has laid numerous traps on the planet. And the ground forces on the planet are still massive. 3 million troops. Combined with the heavily fortified positions on the surface, it would make landings extremely costly. Many Core Worlds are similar in how much they have fortified themselves. This is partially why I am here. We need to discuss what the borders will look like. The Commonwealth has control over most of the Outer Rim and numerous sectors in the Mid Rim. The Inner Rim, Expansion Region, and Colonies can be given to you if the planets agree to join the New Republic. But if you want the Core or Deep Core, you will need to claim it yourself."
Mothma: "We have no intentions of forcing other planets to join the New Republic. As for the proposed borders, I don't see any reason to refuse."
We finalized the agreements, and then I left Padme to talk with the others. Especially her children. She had a lot to talk about, but I was confident that we could get everything ready in the near future.
'Now to see if we can get all the ships ready to go.'
