After cursing under his breath, Luffy took a long, steadying breath and turned to Ain, who was standing beside him.
"Ain, you, Hina, and Kujaku—take some of the supplies we have stored and distribute them to the people," he ordered, his voice steady despite the chaos around him. "Give priority to children, the elderly, and pregnant women. At the same time, organize the crowds to make sure there's no fighting over the supplies."
"Yes!" the three women replied in unison, their faces grim but determined. They couldn't bear to see the suffering of the people around them, and without hesitation, they immediately went to work, making arrangements for the relief effort.
Meanwhile, the residents of Dressrosa, already exhausted and wary, noticed the ship descending from the sky. They saw the familiar seagull paint on its hull and recognized the insignia. But instead of rushing toward it with excitement or hatred, they watched carefully from the shadows. There was no jubilation or anger in their eyes—just an eerie calm. They kept their distance, unsure of what to expect.
As the ship touched down, the hatch slowly opened, and Ain immediately led a group of captains, including Hina, Kujaku, Cook, Binz, Gavin, Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp, off the ship. Alongside many warriors from the Kuja tribe, they began unloading crates of food, medical supplies, and essentials.
Usopp's eyes widened in horror as he surveyed the destruction that stretched before him.
"What on earth happened here? Even a natural disaster couldn't cause this kind of damage!" he exclaimed, his voice heavy with disbelief.
Zoro stood next to him, his expression calm and analytical as he surveyed the craters scattered across the ground and the remnants of destroyed homes. The scent of gunpowder still lingered in the air, and discarded bullets and magazines were strewn everywhere.
"This doesn't look like a natural disaster," Zoro said coolly, his gaze scanning the devastated landscape. "This looks more like the aftermath of a war. A war that affected the entire kingdom."
Sanji, lighting a cigarette, took a long drag before exhaling slowly. His face was serious, and his eyes narrowed as he took in the situation.
"Let's stop talking about it," he said, his voice low. "Kitchen team, follow me."
With that, Sanji took his deputy captain, Bill, and the entire team of 20 female warriors, heading directly toward Town's Hospital to offer aid. Usopp and Zoro exchanged a glance before quickly following with their teams.
The crew worked swiftly, distributing supplies as efficiently as possible. Cook and Binz, with the help of loudspeakers, called for nearby refugees to come and collect the supplies. They organized the people into lines to prevent any chaos or fighting.
Meanwhile, Taylor, the ship's doctor, and his medical team set up a triage station and began treating the injured refugees with the large amount of medical equipment they had brought. The rest of the crew worked tirelessly to organize the refugees, some of whom helped clear the rubble and set up tents for temporary shelter.
Even with all the effort, the need was overwhelming. Despite emptying out the entire ship, the crew still couldn't provide enough supplies to meet the needs of the hundreds of refugees who had arrived. The word quickly spread throughout Dressrosa that the Marine had come to their aid, and more and more refugees began to flood into the temporary camp.
Ain, Hina, and Kujaku, who were all well-organized and capable, managed the chaos with impressive efficiency. They coordinated the distribution of food, medical supplies, and shelter with remarkable skill, ensuring that no one was overlooked.
Luffy, however, couldn't help but feel a headache coming on as he watched the growing crowd.
"Kalifa, Olivia, Koala, Nami—take your teams and search the hospitals, warehouses, and any other places that might have large supplies," Luffy commanded. His voice was calm, but there was an edge to it. "Sister Gion, please contact the nearby Marine branch and ask them to send a batch of supplies as quickly as possible. Hancock, Yamato, stay on The Stormbreaker and keep an eye out for any pirates trying to slip through."
Yamato looked down at her shoes, still getting used to walking in high heels. She wanted to help, but the heels were proving to be more of a challenge than she had expected.
"I've only just gotten used to walking in these," she muttered, frustration creeping into her voice. "I'm still not ready to help."
Hancock, who had been watching Yamato's struggles with a soft smile, called over her long-forgotten pet snake, Salome, and climbed onto it with ease. Seeing Yamato's downcast expression, Hancock decided to offer some guidance.
"Don't worry too much about it," Hancock said, her voice kind but firm. "With those horns on your head, people might mistake you for a member of the Beasts Pirates and cause panic if you go out there."
Yamato nodded slowly, her head hung low as she thought about the damage done by the Beasts Pirates. The guilt weighed heavily on her, but Hancock's next words were comforting.
"Your main task right now is to get used to your new appearance," Hancock continued. "And I'm here to help. Since we're stuck on the ship, I'll teach you how to walk properly in those heels. You'll master them in no time."
Yamato lifted her head, a small smile creeping onto her face. "Thanks, Sister Hancock. I'll try my best."
Meanwhile, in the heart of Dressrosa, in the residential area at the foot of King's Highlands, four individuals—two men and two women—were quietly cleaning up the ruins. The two leading men were wearing helmets. One was an elderly man with white hair, his body strong and muscular, his spirit unwavering. The other was a middle-aged man with well-defined muscles, though his left leg had been severely injured and was broken at the thigh.
