"Electra?" Elmira's voice was tense with worry as she waited for her sister to respond. "Electra, are you there?"
The line crackled with static for a moment before Electra's voice came through, sounding slightly distant and muffled. "E-Elmira?" she replied, her tone strained and hesitant.
Elmira's heart leaped with relief at the sound of her sister's voice, but it was quickly replaced by concern as she noticed the tremor in Electra's tone. "Electra, where are you? Are you okay? What happened?" she asked, her voice urgent.
There was a pause on the other end of the line before Electra spoke again, her voice barely above a whisper, "El-mira."
"Yes, I'm here. What happened, Electra? Where are you?" Elmira's heart pounded with worry as she listened to her sister's shaky voice.
"I fucked up," Electra finally replied, her eyes turning wet. "I... You trusted me with this one thing... And I... I fucked up."
