Ruby had introduced a little game she learned from Clara which immediately piqued the curiosity of quite a few people.
"Truth or Dare, huh? Sounds like it could be fun," the boy with golden hair remarked, his eyes lighting up as he thought of something.
The other two at the card table were still hesitant, but the others had started to jeer, goading them to agree.
Alfred ran a tight ship, and these guards had no ill intentions; they merely wanted to tease the beautiful and cute young girl in front of them.
Thus, with no more hesitation, the other two at the table chuckled at Ruby and said, "Don't you regret it later, little Charlene."
Ruby shrugged, "We'll see who ends up regretting."
In the first round Ruby didn't fight to be the landlord but teamed up with another peasant to defeat the landlord, so the poor landlord was forced to choose between truth and dare.
