"Money?"
The burly and corpulent man took a step forward.
He sneered mockingly, "We don't want money, we want the two of you."
Ever since they took these two little ones, the whole city had no idea how many people were looking for them.
But this place was absolutely safe.
Enen swallowed, his tearful eyes warily staring at the approaching man, "Don't come over."
Feeling his fear, Xinxin's small body couldn't stop trembling.
Her chubby little hands tightly clutched Enen's clothes, her voice choked, "Brother, Xinxin is scared."
"Xinxin, don't be scared, Mother said we must be brave."
Enen hugged Xinxin, retreating all the way to the corner.
There was no place left to retreat.
The two men had already reached them.
He had to tilt his head up just to see their faces.
"We're hungry, we want food."
With every passing second, Enen's panic grew deeper.
But he still held back, not letting himself cry.
