Qin Zhen stood in front of Ma Yongchun, inside his large tent, where there was a smokeless firewood stove and a pile of firewood.
These resources could be found in almost every tent both inside and outside Xiang City.
Outside, heavy snow was falling. Apart from Xiang City and B City, all other cities had been buried, with snow reaching waist deep.
And yet, this snow had fallen for only a mere ten days or so.
Her face was frosty, filled with detachment and unfamiliarity as she looked at Ma Yongchun,
"C City won't survive this disaster. Now, while we still can clear the roads, we arranged this morning to do so and to relocate C City's survivors to Xiang City or B City. It's our only way out."
No sooner had she finished speaking than Ma Yongchun slapped her across the face, twisting her head to one side.
He said, annoyed,
"I am the Commander of C City, Qin Zhen. Have you forgotten your own status? Did you ask for my opinion before doing this?"
