Jimmy shook his head, "Nothing particularly special in the way of clues, everything we have so far someone is handling. I'm still thinking about the direction of the investigation after this. Enough about that."
Jimmy and Nia returned to the living room, where the coffee he had prepared in advance was poured. Jimmy asked Nia to wait in the living room while he went back to the kitchen.
Although he had prepared some semi-finished dishes beforehand, it still took Jimmy quite a bit of time to finish up. He set everything on the dining table and picked a bottle of red wine from the rack before they sat down across from each other.
Jimmy was a devout believer on the surface, while Nia didn't really have a religious faith. To accommodate Jimmy, they held hands across the table and said a prayer before the meal.
"The taste is great. I didn't expect your cooking skills to be so good," Nia complimented Jimmy after tasting the appetizer and then took a sip of the red wine.
