Bai Zhi glanced at her and knew right away that her aunt was angry. She chuckled as she held Bai Xin's hand.
"Auntie, I know, you care about me, and I care about you too. You can't be so willful."
Bai Xin: "..." How could she be called willful? If spending money meant having to look at someone else's face, then it didn't matter whether she lived such a life or not.
"Xingxing, you are still young and don't understand that your aunt knows what she's doing. You are your aunt's good girl. If spending money on you is something your aunt can't even do, then this life might as well be over."
A confident smile played on Bai Xin's lips, yet Bai Zhi saw the profound loneliness she was trying so hard to hide. Her aunt was not happy.
"Auntie, since you have it, aren't you afraid I might lose it? I'm just a kid after all."
Bai Zhi thought for a moment and then promptly spoke up.
