Awakens Magic Circuits. Can perform basic magecraft (simple elementals, binding threads, energy transfer). Body begins to resist mana overload. Requires personal incantations.
Sequence 8: Foundation-Bearer
Develops a personal Thaumaturgical Foundation—a theme that defines their magic (fire manipulation, shadow contracts, time freezing, etc.). Learns to craft bounded fields. Begins building a Mystic Code (magical tool).
Sequence 7: Crest Heir
Inherits or synthesizes a Magic Crest from an existing bloodline or from raw study. The Crest allows spell storage, auto-defense, and ancestral skills. Gains access to lineal knowledge. Magic becomes faster, cleaner.
Sequence 6: High Thaumaturgist
Capable of complex multi-layered rituals. Can alter phenomena with limited "common sense rejection." Can manipulate ley lines, build complex bounded fields, or seal spiritual beings.
Sequence 5: Theory Aligner
Begins to manifest the ability to impose personal magical theory over local reality—rewriting how spells function. Can perform feats bordering on miracles in bounded contexts. Mystic Code gains will of its own.
Sequence 4: Denial Construct
Body and soul become partially immune to conventional logic. Can exist in suspended time, fight within mental dimensions, or resist conceptual attacks. Begins to glimpse cracks in the world leading toward the Root.
Sequence 3: Precept Breaker
Casts spells that can violate natural laws entirely. Gains access to a pseudo-True Magic under extremely limited conditions. Thought, symbol, and will become interchangeable as casting methods.
Sequence 2: Legacy Rejection
Rejects all existing magical theory to build a new model of the world. Can clash with existing reality and win in localized zones. Reality begins failing to perceive you correctly. Time-space begins to bend around your footsteps.
Sequence 1: Near-Root Apostle
Nearly transcends magecraft. Can warp history, resurrect without anchor, and turn symbols into living weapons. Your name becomes a Mystery unto itself. Other mages feel nausea in your presence. Personal domain = reality rewrite zone.
Sequence 0: Rootwalker
You touch the Root. Your magic is no longer learned—it is remembered. Your presence violates the logic of the world. Cause and effect collapse under your spellcraft. You are a walking contradiction, and no magecraft, True Magic, or divine law can override your will.
