Chapter 54 - Chapter 52: The Awakening of the Supreme Power

The battlefield fell into an uneasy silence as a figure appeared in the distance. His presence was overwhelming, the very air around him seemed to distort under the sheer weight of his aura. The ground cracked beneath his feet, and his crimson eyes glowed with malicious intent.

Razork's face darkened immediately. "You," he hissed, his voice carrying a mixture of rage and recognition.

The figure stepped closer, a sinister smile spreading across his face. "Razork, it's been a while," the man said, his voice calm but filled with venom. "Did you think you'd seen the last of me? I told you—betrayal never fades, not until the debt is repaid."

"Zarvok," Razork growled, his fists clenching tightly. "You traitor. You sold us out, and now you dare show your face again?"

Zarvok chuckled darkly. "I didn't just sell you out, old friend. I took everything you cared about. And now... I'm here to finish what I started."

Suddenly, a massive barrier of energy erupted around Razork, trapping him in a sphere of glowing crimson light. Razork slammed his fists against the barrier, but it didn't budge. Zarvok turned to Kael and Rhylen, his smile widening.

"I can't defeat you, Razork," Zarvok said mockingly. "But your children? They're an entirely different story."

Kael and Rhylen immediately stepped into fighting stances, their weapons drawn. The tension in the air was suffocating as Zarvok's aura grew stronger, his power pulsating like a storm about to erupt.

The battle began with a fury that shook the ground. Rhylen, with his Twin Blades of Equilibrium, and Kael, with his unmatched determination, charged at Zarvok. Their attacks were relentless, each strike filled with raw energy. But Zarvok was on a different level.

He parried Rhylen's strikes with ease, his movements fluid and almost mocking. When Kael attacked, Zarvok caught his blade mid-swing and flung him across the battlefield with a wave of dark energy.

"You're strong," Zarvok said, his voice dripping with amusement. "But strength alone isn't enough."

Kael gritted his teeth and charged again, determination burning in his eyes. This time, he managed to land a solid strike on Zarvok's side. The villain stumbled slightly, but his smirk remained.

"Impressive," Zarvok admitted, "but still not enough."

He retaliated with a devastating blow that sent Kael crashing to the ground. Before Kael could recover, Zarvok raised his hand, dark energy swirling around him.

"Say goodbye," Zarvok sneered as he unleashed the attack.

Rhylen shouted, "Kael, watch out!" But it was too late. The energy blast engulfed Kael, and everything went dark.

---

Kael opened his eyes to find himself in a place of complete darkness. There was no sound, no sense of time—just an endless void. In front of him stood a figure cloaked in shadow, its presence both terrifying and strangely familiar.

"Who are you?" Kael asked, his voice trembling slightly.

The figure stepped closer, its eyes glowing like embers. "I am you," it said, its voice resonating deeply. "I am the part of you that has been locked away, hidden for fear of what you might become."

Kael swallowed hard. "What do you mean? Why am I here?"

"You're here because you are weak," the figure replied bluntly. "Because your current power isn't enough to protect those you care about. But I can change that."

Kael's fists clenched. "What do I have to do?"

The figure smiled. "Accept me. Embrace who you truly are. If you do, I will grant you the power to protect them. But know this—once you take this step, there is no turning back."

Kael didn't hesitate. "If it means saving my family, my friends, and defeating Zarvok... then I accept."

The figure reached out, its hand glowing with an otherworldly light. "Then take this power and become what you were always meant to be."

---

Back on the battlefield, Zarvok stood over Kael's motionless body, laughing. "Pathetic," he sneered. "And here I thought you might actually be a challenge."

But before he could deliver another blow, the ground beneath them began to shake violently. A massive surge of energy erupted from Kael's body, and Zarvok stumbled back in shock.

"What... what is this?" Zarvok muttered, his voice trembling for the first time.

Kael rose slowly, his body radiating an aura so immense that even Razork, still trapped in the barrier, felt a chill. The energy around Kael was unlike anything anyone had ever seen—pure, overwhelming, and ancient.

Razork's eyes widened in disbelief. "It can't be... That's the power of the Supreme. The power of the *monsters* themselves."

Kael's eyes glowed with a golden light as he turned to face Zarvok. His voice was calm but carried a weight that shook the air. "You've made a grave mistake, Zarvok. And now, you'll pay the price."

Zarvok roared and charged at Kael, unleashing a flurry of devastating attacks. But Kael didn't flinch. He blocked each strike effortlessly, his movements almost too fast to follow.

With one swift motion, Kael unleashed a single attack. The energy from his strike tore through the battlefield, obliterating Zarvok's attacks and sending the villain flying.

Rhylen and the others watched in stunned silence as Kael continued to fight. Within minutes, Zarvok was on his knees, bloodied and defeated.

Kael stood over him, his aura still blazing. "This is for my family," he said, his voice cold and resolute. With a final strike, Zarvok was defeated, his body disintegrating into nothingness.

As the battlefield fell silent, Kael turned to his father and brother, his glowing eyes slowly returning to normal.

Razork stared at him, a mixture of pride and fear in his eyes. "Kael... what have you become?"

Kael didn't answer. He simply looked at his hands, the remnants of the Supreme power still lingering, and whispered, "Whatever it takes to protect you all."
