Was Rachel powerful? Quite possibly. Did she abuse her power? To abuse something you would first need to want it or have some sort of care or yearning for it. She had neither. She did not want power but on certain levels she liked to test her abilities.
She had always avoided being the savoir and still beings flocked to her. She had tried not to needed she had tried to force her need to be focused in areas that interested her: research, exploration, and practice. What was so wrong in that? Did it make her lazy? No, not lazy, perhaps indifferent, but not lazy.
But this. How could she even pride herself as being a capable entity if she allowed beings who actually counted on her and believed in her to be used, manipulated, or even destroyed.
