In the boardroom, Dylan stood up from his chair and stopped beside Allan. He pressed a button and there was an analytical display on the screen.
"There's an urgent matter that needs my concern and so I'm going to call for your attention because I'm going to rattle." He looked at the board members who were nodding, others putting pen to their notebooks.
"And so where were we?" He questioned rhetorically.
"Ladies and gentlemen, as you can see, our sales have gone up by 20 percent compared to last year. These are strong indicators that the steps we took late last year, especially in automating supply chain operations, are beginning to pay off."
Around the table, heads nodded. The CFO chimed in to clarify a few numbers, but the mood was optimistic. Yet, Dylan knew performance was only part of the story.
He touched a button and the next page popped up.
