"Uchiha Shisui..."
Hearing the name, Uchiha Atsuko, Uchiha Min, Uchiha Kana, and Uchiha Shiro all displayed complex expressions. There were traces of anger, regret, disappointment, and even confusion among them.
Shisui was meant to be a prodigy, a rare genius in the Uchiha clan for decades, and a potential pillar of the family's future. But he had chosen to stand against his own clan, and now they had no choice but to eliminate him.
"Get rid of Uchiha Shisui? Clan leader, isn't it too soon for that?" Uchiha Shou, the second elder, frowned and hesitated.
"The Uchiha clan is still under surveillance. Mobilizing a large number of clan members without being discovered by the Anbu would be extremely difficult," he added.
"I've already devised a solution," Uchiha Fugaku responded.
Having made the decision to eliminate Shisui, he had thoroughly considered how to discreetly move a significant number of elite Uchiha ninjas out of Konoha without raising suspicion.
"I wonder what the clan leader's plan is?" Uchiha Atsuko asked curiously.
"I plan to mass-produce the special clones that disguised themselves as you before and use them to impersonate Uchiha clan members. Meanwhile, the real clan members will secretly leave Konoha and ambush Uchiha Shisui outside the village," Uchiha Fugaku explained.
"Mass production of that type of clone?" Uchiha Atsuko's confusion deepened after hearing Fugaku's plan.
"Such clones require a significant amount of chakra to create. Even with your reserves, wouldn't it be difficult to produce them in large numbers?"
"Not to mention," she continued, "if you expend too much chakra creating these clones, how will you maintain your strength to face Uchiha Shisui?"
Hearing her concerns, the elders and elite jonin exchanged glances. They all shared her doubts.
The patriarch was the most powerful among them, and if he drained his chakra creating these clones, it would weaken their chances of defeating Shisui.
"You're correct. These clones do consume a significant amount of chakra," Fugaku acknowledged.
"Then why, clan leader...?" Atsuko started, but Fugaku raised a hand to stop her.
"Let me finish," he said. "The reason I can create these clones in large quantities is due to a special characteristic they possess. Once created, they do not vanish like shadow clones, nor do they continue to drain my chakra."
The room fell silent in shock.
"A clone that doesn't disappear and doesn't consume chakra?" Atsuko's voice was filled with disbelief. It sounded too good to be true.
If anyone other than the clan leader had made this claim, they would have dismissed it as nonsense.
"Patriarch, does this mean we can create a large number of clones over time?" Uchiha Shou asked, his tone full of curiosity.
"Exactly. Through accumulation, we can amass a significant number of these clones," Fugaku confirmed.
"My current limit is to create four clones per day. As of now, I've already accumulated thirty-three of them. I can continue creating more each day. Using these clones to impersonate clan members, we can discreetly transfer a large number of elites outside the village to ambush Shisui."
Before, creating a single spore clone had consumed a third of his chakra. However, with his recent chakra enhancement, his reserves had doubled, allowing him to produce four clones daily while retaining enough chakra for emergencies.
"If this is true, then the plan is indeed feasible," Uchiha Setsuna, the great elder, said, his excitement evident.
With the issue of stealthily moving clan members solved, the group turned their attention to the next challenge: how to defeat Uchiha Shisui.
"What suggestions do you have for surrounding and killing Uchiha Shisui?" Fugaku asked, addressing the room.
The group fell silent, deep in thought.
After a few moments, Uchiha Shiro spoke. "Uchiha Shisui has awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan. His strength surpasses that of most Kage-level ninjas. Aside from the clan leader, none of us can face him individually. I suggest dividing our forces into teams and using combined ninjutsu to counter him."
"Combined ninjutsu?" Uchiha Shou nodded in agreement. "Indeed, working together is the only way to contend with him. Before launching the ambush, we must practice these techniques to ensure flawless execution."
The others nodded, agreeing with Uchiha Shiro's assessment.
"Another critical issue is Shisui's Body Flicker Technique," Uchiha Kana said. "It's arguably the most powerful in Konoha, rivaled only by the Second and Fourth Hokage. If we can't neutralize his speed, it'll be nearly impossible to kill him."
The group frowned, realizing the gravity of this challenge.
"Restricting his Body Flicker Technique will be key. But how?" Uchiha Setsuna mused aloud.
"I have a solution," the great elder finally said, his voice breaking the tension.
"What is it, Elder?" Fugaku asked.
"Barrier ninjutsu. If we can trap Shisui within a barrier, even his Body Flicker Technique will be ineffective. He won't be able to escape," Setsuna suggested with a sly smile.
"Yes, that could work!" the others exclaimed, their spirits lifting.
"The Uchiha Fire Formation would be the ideal choice," Uchiha Tsukasa added. "It can be activated by a single person or a group, and its strength increases with the number of participants."
Uchiha Fugaku nodded. "We'll use the Fire Formation to trap him and coordinated ninjutsu to finish him off. But we must practice extensively to ensure there are no mistakes."
Tsukasa hesitated. "We still face one major problem: Shisui's whereabouts."
The room fell silent once again.
"Since the day Shisui realized his betrayal was exposed, he hasn't returned to the clan. We've lost all trace of him," Tsukasa pointed out.
Fugaku's expression hardened. "Then we'll find him. No matter where he hides, Shisui's fate is sealed."
