Chapter 209 - Chapter 209: After All, He's Just a Useless Fox

In his transformed crane-like Sage Mode, Urashiki had gone completely mad. The moment his transformation was complete, he dived at them, his face twisted into a wild grin, laughter mixed with strange cries.

"So fast!" Minato immediately sensed danger. The moment Urashiki attacked, he instinctively used the Flying Thunder God. When it came to reaction speed, no one in the ninja world could claim to be faster than him.

At the same time they teleported, the spot where they had been standing exploded. The ground caved in, forming a massive crater as sand poured into it uncontrollably.

It wasn't until that moment that Naruto finally reacted.

He stared ahead at Urashiki in shock, barely able to believe what he had just seen.

"So fast!"

If he had been fighting Urashiki himself, by the time he reacted, Urashiki would already be right in front of him. Other than defending, he wouldn't even have time to make any other decisions. But Minato not only predicted Urashiki's attack, he also used Flying Thunder God to take them all out of harm's way.

No wonder he was the only one in the ninja world to master space-time ninjutsu. His reflexes were on a whole different level compared to ordinary people.

Kurama, who had been smirking before, now looked a bit more serious. He had seen Urashiki's movements too, but with his massive body, dodging was much harder.

"Minato, can you keep up with his speed?"

Minato frowned. "I can, but I can only guarantee that I'll keep up. Whether you guys can keep up with my teleportation is another question."

It wasn't that he looked down on the two people and one fox beside him—it was just that Flying Thunder God's teleportation was terrifyingly fast. There wasn't even time to blink. By the time someone realized what had happened, they would already be in a different place.

This level of movement, far beyond an ordinary person's reaction speed, was impossible to follow unless someone had specifically trained for it or was naturally gifted with fast reflexes.

Minato could teleport dozens of times within just a few seconds, and each time, he could precisely eliminate an enemy. For a normal person, it wasn't even about keeping up with him—just understanding what was happening during each teleportation was already difficult.

Minato was a genius, an absolute genius. If he kept growing, he would definitely surpass Senju Tobirama as the fastest ninja.

Even though Kurama wasn't happy about Minato underestimating him, he had to admit that keeping up with Flying Thunder God's instant teleportation was a real challenge, even for him.

After all, he was just a useless fox! (shaking voice)

Just then, Sasuke suddenly looked up at Minato.

"Uncle Minato, I think I can barely keep up with Flying Thunder God's speed."

His purple Mangekyō Sharingan spun slightly.

Minato was taken aback for a moment, then suddenly understood.

"I see. By relying on the Mangekyō Sharingan's dynamic vision and the enhanced perception from Sage Mode, you might actually be able to keep up."

Naruto grumbled, "Since when is Sasuke better at sensing things than me?"

Sasuke rolled his eyes.

"My sensing ability isn't as broad as yours, but can your chakra detection be as precise as mine?"

Perception ninjutsu generally fell into three main categories.

The first type was wide-range perception, like the standard chakra-sensing technique used across the ninja world, Kurama's ability to sense good and evil, and similar techniques. This type was strong because of its massive coverage, and skilled users could even detect detailed chakra signatures.

The second type focused less on range and more on precision. Examples included the Sharingan's observational abilities and the Yamanaka clan's chakra transmission techniques. These didn't cover as much ground as the first type but offered incredibly accurate detection.

The third type combined both range and precision, such as the Byakugan and the Kagura Mind's Eye. These techniques were both vast in scope and highly detailed in accuracy. The reason the Hyuga clan was known as battlefield killers was because the Byakugan provided both exceptional range and precision.

Naruto could use the Kagura Mind's Eye, but his mastery of it was nowhere near Sasuke's control over the Sharingan.

"The three great Sage Modes each have their own specialties. Ryuchi Cave's Sage Mode enhances sensory abilities more than Mount Myoboku's does. You have to admit that," Sasuke said smugly.

"Tch." Naruto puffed up his cheeks in frustration.

Mount Myoboku's Sage Mode enhanced a user's ninjutsu, taijutsu, and chakra, essentially boosting overall combat strength. Ryuchi Cave's Sage Mode improved a user's natural energy control, ninjutsu, and sensory abilities, making them better at precise control. Shikkotsu Forest's Sage Mode strengthened healing abilities, chakra, and taijutsu, increasing endurance in battle.

Each had its own strengths and weaknesses.

But at least for short-range sensing, Sasuke's precision was indeed better than Naruto's.

And with the Sharingan boosting his dynamic vision, being able to barely keep up with Flying Thunder God's teleportation wasn't too far-fetched.

"So, after all that talk, what's the plan now?" Kurama looked at the three of them.

Sasuke thought for a moment and said, "We need to test different kinds of attacks on Urashiki. I feel like his current state isn't just about stronger attacks."

"You mean his defense has improved too?" Minato asked.

"Very likely." Sasuke nodded.

According to the Sage of Six Paths, only Six Paths power, Senjutsu, and Taijutsu could harm Kaguya. There was no such statement about Urashiki, but they still had to try.

The markings were still there. As long as they created an opening, Minato could try to finish him off in one strike.

"So basically, we find his weak spot and go for the kill." Kurama nodded in agreement. "Naruto knows all about that."

Naruto: "..."

Why are we bringing this up again? That was Kurama's weird phrasing, not my fault!

"Agreed." Sasuke nodded.

He still clearly remembered the strike Gaara took back then.

Minato looked at them strangely. "You mean… weak point, right?"

"Just ignore Kurama. He likes saying it that way." Naruto quickly changed the subject. "Urashiki is coming. Kurama and I will distract him, find his weak spot—yes, weak spot—then, Dad, you take Sasuke and go in for the attack."

"You just said 'weak spot' the wrong way again, didn't you?" Kurama smirked.

"Are you ready?!" Naruto shouted, raising his hand, looking full of energy.

"He totally said it." Sasuke nodded.

"Charge!" Naruto grabbed a Rasengan and rushed forward.

"He's panicking, he's panicking." Kurama followed with a goofy expression.

"Kurama, shut up!!!" Naruto swung his Rasengan back at Kurama.

Kurama dodged, avoiding both Naruto's attack and Urashiki, who was charging toward him. He quickly formed a small Tailed Beast Bomb and shot it directly at Urashiki.

Urashiki grinned wickedly, not dodging at all. Instead, he stretched out his right hand and absorbed the bomb right before it exploded.

"The Preta Path ability!" Kurama cursed. "Damn, I forgot this guy can use Rinnegan powers in his sage form. What kind of overpowered buff is this?!"

How did this guy go from being weaker than a teenage Naruto in *Boruto* to this nightmare?

Whatever. Bottom line—

Sage of Six Paths! This is all your fault!
