Olivia fiddled with her fingers as she stared at the park, where she agreed to meet with Marcus. She didn't want to meet with him in her apartment; thus, she suggested a public area.
It sounded like a disaster. She shouldn't have come here. It was the same circle; the same pattern, and she would reap the same result.

Marcus had been sending her a lot of texts, begging her to meet with him, telling her how much he was suffering, and promising her to let her know the truth about what happened to him.
She thought meeting in a public area would be a little bit wise, but it didn't feel that way.

A text from Marcus came. It sounded desperate, as if he could sense her hesitation.

Taking a deep breath, Olivia came out of her car. This would be the last time. She promised herself. She needed this closure for her sanity too.
