The first thing Aleysia did after drinking in all the beautiful sights before her was to search frantically for her beloved. Medusa, sensing what was to come, quickly turned her face away, her hands grasping at the turban that Gaia held.
"Babe!" Aleysia cried out, her feet carrying her swiftly to Medusa's side. She reached out, desperate to embrace the woman she loved.
But Medusa pulled back, panic etching her features. "Aleysia, stop. I don't want you to see me like this. No, stop!" She pleaded, her voice tinged with anguish.
Aleysia refused to be deterred, her golden eyes shining with determination. "No!" she insisted, standing her ground. "I want to see you, the whole of you. I love you nevertheless. Please."
Medusa shook her head, her serpentine locks hissing softly. "You'll hate me if you see me like this, trust me," she said, her voice laced with certainty.
