[Option 3: Suggest changing the time to evening — Completion Reward: Random Item, ranging from a matchstick to a star destroyer. Note: Such items will...]
Options one and two were clearly out of the question due to their negative rewards.
Bochang focused on option three.
This time, the system did not provide specific instructions for execution.
Left with no other choice, Bochang had to improvise. After a brief moment of thought, he made his decision.
"Option three."
"Hmm... Serval, do you plan to perform outside tonight as well?" Bochang asked.
Serval, carrying her black guitar, replied, "Yes, I intend to continue performing tonight. Why do you ask?"
"Then let's perform together again this evening. I have some other matters to attend to during the day," Bochang responded.
A smile curved at the corners of Serval's lips.
"Sounds good. Come back tonight, and just send me a message when you're ready."
"Alright." Bochang nodded.
[Reward being distributed—Congratulations! You have received the Truth-Telling Fruit. This item dissolves instantly upon consumption, causing the eater to speak only the truth for the next 24 hours.]
"A Truth-Talking Fruit? Intriguing," Bochang muttered to himself.
While Bochang and Serval chatted,
March 7th, Stelle, and Bailu were discussing where they should go for entertainment.
Qingque seemed indifferent; after learning that nobody wanted to play cards, she appeared somewhat crestfallen, adopting an expression that conveyed her lack of preference for any activity.
With an expression suggesting indifference to their plans, Bochang waited until Serval turned away.
March 7th then said, "Bochang, Stelle and I have decided that we'll explore Central Starskiff Haven together. You, Bailu, and Serval have already been around here, but Stelle and I haven't... Will you join us?"
"Of course," Bochang nodded.
Since they had free time, strolling through the streets sounded like a fun way to pass it. Moreover, after last night's incident, the Stellaron Hunters were unlikely to launch another attack anytime soon. The safety of the Astral Express crew aboard Xianzhou Luofu had significantly increased, leaving little cause for concern.
"What about Dan Heng?" Stelle scanned the area nearby.
Thinking for a moment, Bochang replied, "I think he left with Uncle Yang just now."
"Then let's not worry about them; we can enjoy ourselves without them." March 7th placed her hands on her hips.
For the time being, Welt Yang, Dan Heng, and Serval had temporarily separated from the group. So, Bochang, Stelle, and Bailu set off to explore Central Starskiff Haven.
As they strolled, enjoying food and drinks along the way, they also purchased some small trinkets.
Time quietly slipped away.
Stelle and March 7th continued browsing jewelry at nearby shops. The foxfolk saleswoman, skilled and persuasive, tirelessly promoted various items. Bochang, never one to indulge in picky shopping, preferred to simply enjoy the breeze outside.
Qingque, acting as their diligent guide, helped March 7th and Stelle select goods while ensuring they wouldn't get ripped off.
Bailu, on the other hand, was far from helpful.
While Bochang basked in the wind outdoors, so did she.
The two sat together on a long bench.
Bochang's mind wandered, whereas Bailu held a cup of bubble tea, sipping it enthusiastically. Her slender dragon tail swished back and forth behind her, occasionally brushing against Bochang.
After gently setting aside the little dragon girl's tail once again, Bochang glanced at her and said, "Bailu, maybe you should drink less bubble tea. You don't want to gain weight later."
"But this is only my third cup of happiness today; I won't gain weight," Bailu replied, swinging her tiny feet.
Despite the perilous nature of their recent experiences,
Occasionally, they would engage in battles.
But...
Bailu found it thrilling and exhilarating, feeling a sense of freedom.
In short, during this period, Bailu had never been happier than she was now.
Without saying a word, Bochang gently patted her small head.
The dragon girl emitted soft purring sounds, akin to stroking a cat.
For Bochang, it felt deeply soothing and healing.
He turned to glance at the obedient Bailu, who also sensed his gaze and looked back.
Their eyes met.
Bailu's face was charming, with large eyes subtly enhanced by a hint of eyeshadow. Holding her Immortal Delight Tea, the dragon girl gazed up with a mix of innocence and slight naivety in her clear eyes.
A phrase inexplicably flashed through Bochang's mind:
"Look into Bailu's eyes for one minute, break the unsavory habits."
Just then,
the dragon girl seemed to recall something, furrowing her brows as she said, "Bochang, um... I have a question."
"What is it?"
"Are you about to leave soon...?"
Bailu gazed quietly at Bochang.
With the Stellaron Disaster resolved, the day for everyone's departure from Xianzhou Luofu was indeed approaching swiftly.
"Of course, the Astral Express' Trailblazing journey will never cease."
Bochang would not remain on the Xianzhou.
There were many more adventures ahead...
"I truly envy you, able to travel wherever your heart desires. Unlike me..." Bailu sighed softly.
Bochang reassured her, "Don't worry, Bailu now has a teleportation ring. If you ever want to come out and play in the future... just contact me remotely, and I'll arrange immediate teleportation. No one can stop you, even if you decide to stay longer than planned."
"After all... I'll provide Master Diviner with another teleportation ring, allowing you to directly teleport to her side whenever needed."
Upon hearing this, Bailu's eyes sparkled brightly.
"That sounds fantastic! Bochang, I'll be counting on you from now on."
"Let's continue learning from each other."
Bochang gently moved his large hand down to playfully tousle Bailu's twin braids.
The young dragon girl had luxuriant hair, and her pair of plaited braids were remarkably charming.
Just as Bochang was about to say something, Stelle emerged from the shop.
"Bochang, what do you think of this bracelet?"
On the delicate wrist of the gray-haired girl, a jade bracelet shimmered with its vibrant emerald green hue, truly captivating.
Bochang withdrew his hands from playing with the braids and remarked, "It looks quite nice."
"Really?" Stelle's expression remained unchanged.
Whenever she saw Bochang now, memories of last night's dream resurfaced, stirring mixed emotions within her.
Unfazed, Bochang responded, "Of course, why would I ever deceive you?"
With the jade bracelet adorning her fair, slender wrist, Stelle exuded an added aura of elegance. The vibrant emerald color harmonized beautifully with the faintly visible blue veins beneath her skin.
Upon receiving such praise,
After pondering for a moment, Stelle said, "If that's the case, I'll take this bracelet."
It seemed she had decided to purchase it.
Then...
Once March 7th makes her choice, everyone can move on to the next location.
"Shopping with girls is indeed somewhat troublesome; do they never get tired?" Bochang thought privately.
The group soon resumed their journey.
As they walked along, Stelle suddenly stopped and pointed towards a shop hidden in a corner, saying, "I'd like to check this place out."
Bochang and the others followed the direction indicated by the gray-haired girl's finger.
Four large words caught their eyes:
Adult Novelty Store.
Bochang remained silent... Qingque was speechless... March 7th stood frozen...
