The Communication Crystal faintly lit up in the darkness; Fang Hong cradled it in his right hand and a row of bright characters illuminated his somewhat cool eyes. He then set the Crystal down and lifted his head, silently looking ahead.
"Alice is over there, let's go," he announced.
"Do you really trust her?" Sophie stood on the other side of the Light Page, calmly watching him. Behind her stood the great statue of the Commercial Goddess, with Lady Roman bowing her head, holding the Scales solemnly.
"We have no choice but to trust for now," he responded.
"But she could have sold you out to the Jiefulite Red Cloak Team. You know, if she hasn't done so before, it might have been because they weren't ready yet," Sophie said.
Fang Hong nodded quietly, "I am aware."
He glanced at the others, "So, assuming we're trapped, how certain are your people that they can carve out a path of blood?"
Sophie also glanced at her teammates.
