After hearing Vinica's account, Marika nodded and then turned to look at Rein, saying, "Lord Rein, I do apologize, but it seems we'll need to set out as soon as possible."
"No problem, Major Marika, but it's already half past ten. How about we leave after lunch?" Rein said, smiling.
Marika and Vinica exchanged a glance and laughed, saying, "Of course, that would be fine. We'll trouble Baron Rein, then."
"You are too kind. It's merely my obligation as host," Rein said with a slight bow and a smile.
Without Rein needing to give further instructions, the elegant woman beside them gracefully stood up and said with a smile:
"My lord baron, I will go now and ask the kitchen to prepare a special meal so Major Marika and Miss Vinica may enjoy the delicacies of Meist County."
"Thank you for your effort, Jennifer," Rein nodded with a smile and replied.
