In a room of a giant castle, a depressed voice could be heard.
"Will, save me, I hate this place! At this rate I might die from meeting grumpy old people!" said Lucas, holding what seemed like a wooden ball in his hands, projecting an image of another teenager.
"What exactly do you mean, your Majesty?" The teenager referred to as Will answered with a slight mocking tone. "I thought you wanted to become a prince?"
"Oh screw you Will, get me back to your tiny village! You know full well you can just teleport me there!" he begged "Please!!!"
"Yeah, keep begging. That's what all princes do." Sarcasm could clearly be heard in Will's voice. "Can't you just burn the castle to the ground? Or is it not hard enough for the likes of you!"
"Will, I swear I will give you a beating if I escape the damned prison" said Lucas
"Haha, fine, I've had enough" said Will after some time.
And in the blink of an eye, Lucas travelled across the continent into a small village.
"Mwahahaha! I, the great Lucas Remmington, am back for revenge!" shouted Lucas as he flew to the sky, doing a cringy pose. "I am out for blood, and you, William, shall perish under my name!" he said as ice shard flew towards William.
"Fuck, I should just get you back there!" William shouted as he made portals leading the ice shards towards Lucas, who simply melted them while covered in green flames.
As the two were duking it out, the noise attracted lots of people.
"It's just morning and you two are already killing each other? Do you know what I do to people who ruin my Sunday? Fuck around and find out!" shouted a sleepy voice.
"Yeah! Don't fight on a Sunday, you'll wake the Little One up!" a woman's voice joined in.
"Sorry sirs and madams, she's already awake!" said Lucas awkwardly as a tiny figure shot towards them "Will, it's too late! She'll destroy us!"
"Do I look like someone dumb?" William shouted back as the Little One flew closer and closer. "She's already sealed the town! We have no hope against that vicious creature!"
Lucas, along with William, fled as fast as he could toward the opposite direction of the voice.
"Is it not Sunday for you two?!" shouted an enraged girl's voice from afar "At the very least control yourselves!"
"Uh oh-" Lucas didn't have enough time to finish his sentence when he felt smacked on the head by possibly the strongest force in the continent. He was lucky the girl held back, or else he would've passed out by now. William also suffered the same fate, although a bit worse since he was the one who brought Lucas back.
"Alice, please, don't send me there, I'm still too young to die!" Lucas shouted as he felt a pulling force towards a mountain.
The townspeople could only shake their heads for pity at the sight of what had happened way too many times.
Lucas was sent to the mountain full of magical beasts. He could only curse at his luck for appearing miles away from his camp area. This wasn't the first time he was sent here by Alice, but he still hadn't adapted to the mountain's dangerous environment, so he had to build a camp to survive a few hours until William finds him and takes him back.
Although he was only rank 2, he could still deal with rank 3 magical beasts and rank 5 normal beasts. He could be called a genius among geniuses, however in this region, even a normal rank 2 beast could overpower him. And normal beasts don't even have magic abilities. Because of this, Alice used this mountain filled to the brim with rank 2 and 3 magical beasts to subject Lucas or William to a form of torture.
This was actually quite beneficial to them, as they could get more battle experience and hone their skills. The elemental essence here is also very thick, so Lucas who fully uses elemental abilities would have a greatly increased cultivation stage.
Still, Lucas was now in a tight spot, being surrounded by a pack of rank 1 and 2 Fire Wolves that got came due to Lucas' smell. It should be known that Lucas had greatly damaged the leader of the pack when it was only rank 1. It was now in rank 3, back for revenge.
The leader slowly walked toward Lucas with magnificent flaming fur exerting killing intent. The fur looked so soft, yet so dangerous. Lucas could only stare in horror as he tried to communicate with the wolf.
"Hi"
He was sent flying by what seemed like a tornado made purely of raging fire. The wolf also unleashed its domain, covering the area with a sea of flames. Unless the domain is broken, in its domain, it was god. It showered the poor teenager with countless fireballs, beating him black and blue. He didn't even have the time to react when the other wolves jumped towards him and attacked him with a flurry of fire attacks.
Lucas made desperate attempts to escape, but it was all for naught. Against the weakest one of these Fire Wolves, he didn't even know if he would come out unscathed.
Eventually, he felt it. He was close to breaking through to the Master Plane, but also close to dying. It wasn't like the Master Plane was going to save him from blood loss...
*****
A figure was floating in the air. He was sent to protect the boy named Lucas. He looked at the direction of the wolf pack.
"So that's him" the man said with a curious gaze "I wonder if he'll break through"
Torn between saving the boy and leaving him be, he felt like he should watch first. When Lucas was about to die, he would take him and leave. He used to be an assassin after all, he wasn't built for this.
