"What? How?" I asked absentmindedly. I knew I wasn't being followed so how come she was here?
"Forget that and tell me your name!" Androsi said with curiosity in her eyes.
"Stop asking questions to a dead man." It was then that I heard another female voice from behind me.
I looked back to see Rachel standing there and behind her was the giant, Akryung.
At the front was Androsi and at the back was Rachel and Akryung... I sighed feeling like I was trapped. Though there was a way I could get out of this encirclement... I looked at the cooldown for my passive.
2...
1...
0...
Being surrounded was never a good thing and even though I didn't thought about it properly, I decided to at least gain some distance between me and the two girls.
I discreetly glanced at the two people around me to find that they weren't entirely focused on me. Knowing this was a perfect opportunity, I made a run for it.
I wasn't really running away though, I just wanted to get some distance between us and that is exactly what I did. I jumped out from between the two and only stopped after making around 6 to 7 meters of distance between us.
I looked at the two to find them also looking at me with shock and amusement on their faces. it seemed that my speed had managed to surprise them at least.
"Hee...Do we still need to kill him?" Androsi had a smug expression on her face as she looked at Rachel and asked.
Rachel was silent for a second before looking at the giant of a man behind her.
"Akr, attack him."
As soon as the words left her mouth I saw a giant spear coming straight at my face. Fortunately, My passive was still active and I was able to dodge to the side in the nick of time. The spear missed me and got impaled to the ground besides me.
"Are you gonna kill him? I thought you wanted to recruit strong regulars and kill all the other competitors that are taking this test...He looks strong, we should at least ask him to join right?" I heard Androsi ask.
—————
"Akr, attack him." I said without changing my facial expressions.
As soon as I said that, Akr threw his giant spear towards the black haired boy. The boy did manage to dodge that attack but I could see he was starting to panic. the ground where the spear landed was cracked, it was obvious that the power behind the attack would be too much for anyone to survive and that was something the boy had also realised.
I saw the boy staring in space as if he was seeing something that most couldn't and his face grew grim. He looked like someone who has just realised that they had no hope of winning.
I realised that he somehow figured out that no regular taking this test can actually defeat Akr...Which was...
'Remarkable... He has good analytical abilities...'
My eyes Narrowed slightly after seeing that. He had talent but it is quite unfortunate...He will be dying on this floor...
"Are you gonna kill him? I thought you wanted to recruit strong regulars and kill all the other competitors that are taking this test...He looks strong, we should at least ask him to join right?"
I heard Androsi ask. I looked at her for a minute. Her calm eyes and curious look was still the same. She really wanted to know more about me, it seemed...I could most definitely tell her a bit about me but not right now...
"Go." I commanded Akr.
Akr started moving towards his spear after receiving my command. I could feel the ground trembling with each of his steps. I smiled in satisfaction. This huge and extremely strong creature was following my commands... I knew this was just temporary but it still filled me with satisfaction.
I... Had a goal in this test and I had to fulfill it no matter what. I... need to slaughter as many regulars as possible during this test. The ideal situation would have been if I had killed all the other regulars on this testing area. making me and Akr to be the sole winners of this test.
There was a reason I was doing all this killing... I needed to kill all the regulars taking this test because only when I do this, would I be able to reach Baam... I didn't want to meet Baam at first as I had left him all alone before and felt ashamed but after what Headon had told me... I had to at least be around him...
I clenched my chest slightly as I remember my talk with Headon...
What Headon asked me...I still don't know If I should follow it...Do I really have to do that?...No...What am I even thinking...This is the only way...I have to do it.
I shook my head as I looked in front of me again. Akr was now standing in front of the black haired boy. Ark had already took out his spear from the ground and supported it on his shoulder.
The boy standing before the huge figure of Akr was the one that surprised me though. He had a slightly panicked look and it was clear from his face that he understood that he doesn't stand a chance before Akr but, he didn't look scared. The same look that Androsi had when she fought Akr. She also knew that it would be extremely tough to win against Akr but she didn't look scared, she looked more amused then anything to be honest.
That was one of the reason that I had decided to ask her to join me instead. The other reason being that she was a princess of Jahad...
I knew that if I wanted to reach the top of this tower and see stars, I would be needing some kind of a team and a strong team at that. Androsi was everything I had been looking as a teammate. She was strong and could carry me, she wouldn't just run away from strong opponents and as a princess of Jahad, she would also have quite a bit of political power in the future.
All things considered, she felt like an ideal candidate for being in my team. That is the reason I had decided to recruit her instead of straight up killing her like everyone else that I would kill. Ah! speaking of killing everyone, the reason I had to kill everyone was to reach Baam just like I had said before.
As it was already mentioned, there were two testing areas that are conducting the test on regulars. Under normal circumstances, Regulars from different testing area wouldn't be able to meet the regulars fron another area. Meaning, I also wouldn't be able to meet Baam under normal circumstances but what if one area has way less regulars then what was acceptable?
If one testing area only has a few regulars left at the end of this test, then the Administrators would be forced to combine the regulars from both areas. This would be done so because of the nature of the tests that would be taken after this one, there has to be certain number of regulars present in each area after all. Though I don't quite know everything fully as I only had heard it from Headon's subordinates. Nonetheless, My task right now was to reduce the numbers of regulars in this area to less then ten, and that was all.
So even though I could recruit this boy in my team, I would like to know his capabilities first. But, unfortunately, It doesn't look like he wants to show me what he's actually made off as he isn't actively fighting Akr. he hasn't even attacked Akr, not even once. For some unknown reason, The black haired boy is just dodging the attacks that Akr was throwing at him without any signs of attacking Akr himself.. I wonder why that is so....
—————
Another attack came for my head which I again dodged to the side as I looked at the worst adversity that I had faced until now. Seeing my opponent and looking at his status window, Nothing but hopelessness filled my body. There was just now way I can defeat this guy...even if I used all the gold and skill points that I currently have, I would still be uncertain if I could defeat this foe.

________________
I really didn't know that even someone like this was participating in the test... This guy didn't really made too great of an impression in the anime so I had forgotten that this guy even existed but I could never have dreamed that he was this strong like, this is only the second floor you know?
Even Androsi doesn't have this high stats and she is a Jahad princess...
To be honest, The only reason I haven't died yet is because this guy, even though is stronger then me, he is still slower then most.
I think he might even be as slow as Dofu... But his slowness isn't the entire reason why I could survive against him... There was more. The guy was very indecisive. meaning there were no tricks in his attacks. He just swings his spear at me without holding back. The simplicity of his attacks, makes them easy to read and by extension, easy to dodge.
It was because I felt that I could survive his attacks that I had decided to not just straight up run away. If I had felt that I wouldn't survive fighting him then I would have ran away already. I can technically still run away if I felt like I was in danger, and, I most likely will run away in that situation but my purpose in not running away was to gain a bit more information.
These three people were the only once that had survived this deathmatch test according to the anime which meant that they were the ones responsible for wiping out most number of regulars in this area as well. Right now, I have no idea where Amelia and Dofu are but they should also be in this testing area right? and If that is the case then it would be impossible for them to not come across these three people.
At the end, I feel like Dofu and Amelia would be in danger if I at least don't figure out what these three are after. I just have this feeling that something bad would happen if I just ran away right now and that is why I am not really running away.

Sorry, This chapter is only around 1817 words long. Shorter then my usual goal of 2k+ words. I am just tired today and feel like sleeping early... (Yes, I have just created this chap.)
Also, I have planned something in the next few chaps, and I feel like most wouldn't want that... though I would still be doing that...
Sorry, no spoilers...
Well, hope you like the chapter. I am gonna go sleep now. Bye~
