Fu Shinian ignored Su Mu's daze and packed her things himself, occasionally turning back to ask where something should go or if she wanted to keep it. Su Mu would sometimes respond or choose to remain silent, but Fu Shinian didn't mind and kept asking until Su Mu spoke up.
It had to be admitted that with Fu Shinian's help, Su Mu packed much more efficiently. In no time, the living room was almost cleared. Su Mu, feeling tired, sat down on the sofa. Fu Shinian looked at her with a smile, bent down, and picked up a box full of items:
"I'll move these over first and come back to help you later."
"No need," Su Mu said lazily. "I fear I no longer have the energy to pack anymore today. I'm going to sleep."
Fu Shinian glanced at her without a word and left. Su Mu ultimately trusted Fu Shinian, and so, after he left, she fell asleep without any precautions—and it was a deep sleep, such that even when Fu Shinian returned, he didn't wake her.
