VAN (Co-host): I certainly hope so. We enjoy elevation here. And illumination. I have so many questions for you.
COLERIDGE: Ask away.
VAN: First things first. How did you not chase off that merchant that interrupted one of the greatest dream inspirations in literature?
COLERIDGE: Well ... I did not wish to behave in a beastly manner to a guest.
VAN: Of course.
COLERIDGE: I could have just refused the importuning of his knock. The door is the servant, not the master.
VAN: People in our century have the same issue, Sir Coleridge.
DAJI (Co-host): And some humans don't want to answer the door because they could be the target of robbers or unsavory persons.
