Damon and the boys stepped out.
The moment the door swung open, what they saw was clear. Ash was on the ground, arms covering his head as boots rained down on him. He was still drunk, still laughing like it wasn't serious.
One guy was laid out near him, face-first on the ground, completely still. Ash caught one clean before numbers overwhelmed him.
The other three were still going at him. The fourth was standing back, screaming at the girl, still caught up in whatever argument started this.
Ty stepped forward, cracking his knuckles.
Edward followed without hesitation.
Joey was already moving.
Damon's face didn't change.
This wasn't about talking. There was nothing to say.
The guys stomping on Ash noticed them. They paused. Looked up. Realized what was walking toward them.
Damon kept walking.
Thus beginning Damon's second brawl.
