Deep in the dark realms, an ancient Demon Lord named Malakar ruled. Over the centuries he had engaged in many rituals and dark arts to gain power. When he sensed Shadow's death thanks to the soul pact, he activated his right and left arms, Shadow Hunter Lilith and Dark Mage Zephyra, to find out who was behind this situation.
Lilith was an ancient warrior trained to hunt dark beings. Zephyra was a powerful sorceress who was a master of dark magic. Malakar sent these two loyal servants after the Kage.
Lilith followed Kage with silent steps. When he found him in the tunnels, he stood behind the Kage. "I've heard a lot about you," she said sarcastically. "They say you're strong, but let's see how strong you are."
Kage rolled his eyes and laughed sarcastically. "Oh, another loser talking about power. I wonder what worthless thing you sold your soul for?"
Lilith drew her sword, trying to control her anger. "I will find your weaknesses," he said firmly.
However, Kage suddenly took action. He swung his scythe and broke Lilith's sword, knocking her to the ground. "Finding my weak spots? I'll enjoy having fun with you."
The darkness within the Kage was filled with pleasure when he saw the fear in Lilith's eyes. He swung his scythe once more and ripped apart Lilith's body, absorbing her soul. "How pathetic," said the Kage coldly. "And you fed me."
Zephyra became enraged when she sensed Lilith's failure. "I must handle this myself," he said, and tried to infiltrate the Kage's mind with his dark magics. As he wandered through Kage's mind, he encountered millions of years of memories and horrific events he had experienced.
Zephyra was unable to cope with these dark waves in the Kage's mind and suffered a mental breakdown. Kage noticed this and laughed evilly. "Are you trying to take over my mind? Poor wizard, my darkness is far beyond your understanding."
Zephyra screamed in pain, felt her mind explode, and collapsed to the ground. The Kage ripped apart his body and absorbed his soul. "It could have been a little more fun," he said sarcastically. "But it still made me stronger."
Malakar became enraged when he sensed the death of Lilith and Zephyra. "That's enough," he said to himself. "The Kage has proven himself powerful enough to attract my attention. I must seize his power and further strengthen my dark army."
Malakar made preparations by calling his harem and went after the Kage. The Kage's growing power lit a dangerous light in Malakar's eyes. "Kage," he whispered. "I can't wait to meet you."
As Kage moved deeper into the tunnels, he was aware of the great threat approaching. "Do they think they can stop me?" he muttered to himself. "How stupid and pathetic they are."
