Harry walked up to the Dursleys' house. He could have just asked his elves to pop him in, but he still had to keep up the act for the spies. So here he was, walking from the bus station. Looking across, he saw Mrs. Figg strolling with her cats. Harry waved, then entered the house.
As soon as he closed the door, he heard the familiar tune.
"Du dum dum, du dum."
Harry broke into a wide grin. He extended his hand out, letting his magic flow.
"Du dum dum du dum."
A hat came zooming to his hand.
"As he came into the window
It was the sound of a crescendo
He came into her apartment
He left the bloodstains on the carpet…"
Harry clutched his hat over his head, letting the other hand loose to the side. Tapping his foot to the rhythm, he let the music pulse through his veins. Everything around him transformed into his stage.
"…She ran underneath the table
He could see she was unable…"
Striking a pose, Harry moonwalked smoothly into the hallway, each step as smooth as silk. The music blasted from the speakers, filling the whole house with electricity.
Reaching the hallway, he spun around, his eyes closed, lost in the music.
Inni, Mini, and Moo, his house-elves, appeared beside him, their tiny feet tapping to the rhythm, joining him in perfect synchronization.
They were dressed in mini suits, which was common for Inni but gave a new look to Mini and Moo compared to their regular 'uniforms' they had chosen for themselves.
While Inni was expressionlessly cold, Mini had a hard clench on her jaw, Moo was the only one with a wide smile; after all, she was the one who choreographed this with Harry.
"…Annie, are you okay? So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?
Annie, are you okay? So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?..."
Harry and the elves moved as one, their bodies flowing with the music.
Harry's arms sliced through the air, sharp and precise, while the elves twirled and leaped with agility.
The elves weaved around Harry, creating intricate patterns to the beat of the song.
Harry's feet tapped out a rapid-fire sequence on the hardwood floor.
He spun again, his body a blur of motion, and slid effortlessly across the floor in a smooth glide, his arms outstretched like wings.
The elves echoed his slide, mirroring him with precision.
Harry's hand shot up, a signal, and they broke formation, spinning away from each other with dazzling footwork.
Harry dropped to his knees, sliding across the floor, his hand reaching out as if in a plea.
The elves surrounded him, shimmering their hands at the end.
Harry took a deep breath, preparing for the final crescendo.
"...You've been hit by, you've been struck by, a smooth criminal..."
*boom* *boom*
Confetti burst to the side, Vernon and Dudley each holding Confetti Bursts.
…
…
"Yay!" Moo burst into cheer and hugged Inni and the reluctant Mini. Harry too was all smiles, even the Dursleys—well, they were ordered to, but that aside.
Harry was not so hard on them anymore, remembering one of the theories he read about him acting as a pseudo horcrux, intensifying the hate in the Dursleys.
But it's not like he really cares either.
"Congratulations, master, on the successful heist," Inni walked up to him.
Harry smiled, reminding himself why they were celebrating. He looked at his elves, reminiscing on how much they mean to him now.
Over the years, while Harry had no avenue for magical money, he had found many ways to get muggle currency.
For starters, they stole a lot of cash from gangsters. With elf magic, Harry and Mini had also popped in to beat some too. He then used that cash to live to his fullest.
Even the elves—Harry helped them find what they would love to do and helped them start on that journey.
As Inni had found interest in the business sector, Harry had bought all the books that would help her in understanding it and also helped her look at the business world's progression with his understanding of future knowledge.
And that was exactly how they broke the second pot of gold.
Harry and Inni really started working on how to funnel funds out of Vernon's drill company.
While he said he is not hard on them anymore and lets them be if they don't interfere, that doesn't mean he is not going to make full use of them.
Obviously, he will Obliviate them when he leaves them for good. 'No loose ends.'
For Mini, well, she was just a punk. After watching "The Godfather," "Scarface," and movies alike, she has been in a craze to start her own gang.
Harry was fed up with her constant pandering for more elves, or even wanting to beat up gangs and take them under.
'What does that quarter-sized elf think of herself?' And it was not like Harry could go on and keep contracting elves.
Over time, after discussing with the elves, he has come to realize the nature of the bond they share.
A soul bond. And his theory is that most people can only have one soul-bound contract.
He theorizes that this is the reason for the power Voldemort, Dumbledore, and Grindelwald have. The Dark Mark, the Phoenix companion, and the Elder Wand are his guesses for the reason for each man's power.
As for Moo, she is like the life manager for all three of them—well, mostly for Harry. And so it was, Harry helped Inni with building her understanding of business.
He had already great expectations from her and had finalized training her to lead the financial aspect of the empire he wants to build. He taught Mini to understand the aspects of fear and loyalty.
For Moo, aside from her 'maid' duties, she has come to really like healing, as she has become the designated healer in all their TTRPG games they play.
He has not really found a way to help her with that as the only thing he has been able to teach them is muggle biology.
Seeing her talking the healer maid character, Harry was amused.
Though the bond acted a bit like master and servant, he doesn't really look at them as such. Time has brought them close that they can really come to be called a family.
But when Inni participated with Moo in her maid training, he forced Mini too.
Harry walked up to Inni and patted her head, looking at his elves like a proud father.
After reminiscing the backstory like a proper protagonist, Harry looked down at himself. "Ugh, gotta change out of this poor man's clothes." Obviously, Harry doesn't wear these clothes that often.
He walked into his room, which once used to be the Dursley couple's bedroom.
When Harry took off the oversized hoodie, now you could really see how unnaturally ripped he was for his age.
Again, obviously he has not been starving to be malnourished. He has just stayed very lean, like a bantamweight fighter, so when he wears oversized clothes he looks the part he wants to.
"Ugh, as soon as I finish this year, I am bulking up."
While the elves were following a proper regime to take over their part, Harry had also given a lot of thought about himself too.
Very early on, he came to the realization that he could become anything in this life.
He contemplated being a prodigy or something, but he felt it was too early to be seeking any attention, and most of the ideas and things he wanted to be were of the flashy kind.
He looked up if there was a YouTube in this time as he thought that being a gamer YouTuber would also not be a bad idea, but as it turns out, it was not out yet.
And so he only spent his time doing what he felt was good.
He had also kind of developed partial ADHD, where he is inflicted with various interests, and partial as he is able to give full attention even past the point of boredom if he has decided on it.
He had learned drawing too.
There was his idea to be a mangaka in this world too, but eventually, he had a feeling that this was not meant for him so he didn't pursue it. [AN: an idea for another fanfic maybe, mangaka in HP]
He has taken many MMA classes from a guy from the States and Muay Thai lessons from an immigrant from Thailand as he explored the arts of the body to become as fit as possible.
"A lot of things become easy when you have elves to pop you to places." Skipping the eyes of many, he has indulged in his hobbies.
