Hengshan Branch.
Behind the painting hall, there is a side hall.
This hall has no doors or windows, and with the bamboo curtains rolled up high, it's as open as a pavilion. However, its upswept eaves and railings are distinctly elegant, and the foundation steps are broad. Inside the pavilion is a hexagonal brick-built tree pit, with a ginkgo tree on each side.
Paintings and calligraphies hang down on both sides, with a guqin placed on the south side, stylish and graceful.
Zhao Rong and Dan Qingsheng sit facing each other in the open hall, chanting, just as they listened to the autumn winds in the old times.
"Brother, you used to be content with reclusion, carefree at heart. Why do you seem so troubled today, burdened by worries?"
Having said that, Dan Qingsheng pours him a cup of wine.
Without waiting for Zhao Rong to respond, he continued talking:
"If it's the troubles of children you're concerned about, I think it's quite unnecessary."
