An hour later, Zhang Chulan emerged from the medicinal bath, the water now murky and even emitting a slight stench.
This was the filth within Zhang Chulan's body.
"Go rinse off in the nearby showers," instructed Wu Ming, pointing in a direction where there was a passage lined with several small doors.
"Alright."
Zhang Chulan, without any hesitation, covered his private areas and headed to the showers.
Wu Ming curled his lip, "This kid, still shy?"
He then shook his head and began reading the "Journey to the West" he held in his hands. When Zhang Chulan returned, Wu Ming closed the book and handed it back to him.
"Here, your book."
"Thank you."
Zhang Chulan took it, dressed himself, and placed the clothes into his Qiankun Bag.
Wu Ming nodded and, once everyone had taken their baths, he said, "Everyone, follow me to the schoolhouse, it's time for your lesson."
"Yes, Teacher!"
The children responded in unison.
Zhang Chulan joined them as they went to the schoolhouse.
