Chapter 2 - Tragic Death.

The bartender, noticing her distress, placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Hey, you okay? Do you need someone to talk to? I'm here to listen."

Lingxi opened her eyes, a small smile on her lips. "No, I'm fine. Just a rough night."

The bartender nodded understandingly. "Well, if you change your mind, I'm here to listen. And if you need a refill, just let me know."

As the night wore on, Lingxi sat at the bar, nursing her wine and lost in her thoughts.

After drinking about 5 glasses of wine she stopped and started to cry again. Even the alcohol couldn't numb or take away the pain she was feeling. She paid for the drink and walk out of the bar shakily and her eyes were red and puffy from the crying.

She got into her luxurious BMW M4 CSL, a car that gleamed with opulence and speed. The interior was adorned with premium leather and sleek designs, a testament to her wealth and refined taste.

As she started the engine, the car roared to life, its powerful V8 engine purring smoothly. She put the car in gear and hit the gas, speeding down the highway at an incredible 191 miles per hour. Lingxi's emotions were in turmoil as she drove away, her eyes red and puffy from crying. She had thought that the wine would dull her pain, but it only seemed to intensify her feelings of sadness and anger. She loved Haochen deeply, and his betrayal hurt her more than she thought possible.

The wind rushed past her, whipping her hair into a frenzy as she pushed the car to its limits.

As she drove, her thoughts raced back to the memories of their time together. She had been devoted to him, supporting him through thick and thin. She had helped him build his career, and he had promised to always be faithful. But now, it seemed like all his sweet words were nothing more than lies.

Lingxi's anger boiled over as she remembered the pain he had caused her. She hit the steering wheel hard, her hands shaking with rage. She couldn't believe that Haochen had cheated on her with Yueying, of all people. It felt like a knife twisting in her heart.

As she continued driving, her speed increased, and her vision became blurry. She didn't notice the road signs or the other cars around her. Her mind was consumed by her emotions, and she didn't care about anything else….

In another part of the car, suddenly, an old cell phone came to life after many years of it being dead, it displayed a countdown timer. Lingxi didn't notice it, too caught up in her own turmoil. The 1200 hours timer counted down to three minutes, then two minutes, and finally reached three seconds, 3-2-1…

In a flash, everything changed. Lingxi's car was hit from behind, and she lost control. Before she could regain her bearings, a large truck collided with her car, sending it spinning out of control.

The sound of screeching tires and crushing metal filled the air as Lingxi's world went dark. Her body was thrown forward, her head smashing against the steering wheel. The airbag deployed, but it was too late. The impact was immense, and Lingxi's body was trapped in the wreckage.

The world went dark, and Lingxi's screams were drowned out by the sound of crushing metal.
