"Hahaha—"
"Goodbye, Zaire!"
With a burst of laughter, Thor, wielding Mjolnir once again, cut through the increasingly sparse raindrops.
He laughed joyfully as he flew into the night sky.
He soared into the depths of the dark, heavy clouds.
Zaire, carrying the super-phase sword, tilted his neck slightly.
The blue wolf-boy watched the direction in which Thor disappeared.
A fleeting smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.
A few seconds later, Zaire turned to face Iron Man David, who had just stepped forward, and said with a smile:
"David, help me collect the spoils."
"This ultimate weapon from Asgard, even though it's been damaged, its metal materials are still incredibly valuable... We might be able to use them for power armor later."
"Understood, my lord."
With blue light flickering in his eyes, Iron Man David gave a slight nod and headed toward the Destroyer's wreckage, stepping through the mud.
Zaire took a deep breath of the fresh air.
He glanced around at the dim, unfamiliar surroundings.
Then, he turned and walked toward the Valkyrie transport ship.
Along the way, he retrieved the Gauss explosive gun that had been thrown into the murky water.
Although it had been ineffective against the Destroyer, it was still one of Zaire's rare weapons.
A few minutes later, Iron Man David returned to the cabin, effortlessly dragging the large metal wreckage.
Zaire, who was organizing weapons and equipment, immediately stood up and helped secure the wreckage.
Then, he returned to his seat and closed his eyes to rest.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
With the roar of the ion engines, the Valkyrie transport ship, with damaged wings, lifted off the ground.
It slowly entered the still dark, heavy clouds.
However, it wasn't long before the sharp sound of air being torn apart echoed through the night sky again.
Thor, the God of Thunder, appeared once more, slicing through the fine raindrops.
He landed heavily on the muddy ground.
Thor, still wielding Mjolnir, blinked his blue eyes as he shook his head.
His brow furrowed deeply, and his golden beard trembled with a look of deep concern on his face.
His anxiety grew when he realized that Zaire was nowhere to be found.
Thor took a deep breath.
He muttered to himself:
"Heimdall didn't respond to my summons... something must have gone wrong in Asgard... Damn it! Without the Bifrost, how am I supposed to get back?"
"Ah, I ran too fast earlier... I really need Zaire's help now. Which direction did his flying vehicle go?"
"Ah, right... over there!"
Thor quickly determined the direction, then swung Mjolnir.
He shot toward the black night sky once more!
Unfortunately, the path he chose was slightly off from the Valkyrie's route...

Several hours later.
Reditus, who had been tinkering with the computer configurations in the base's hall, instinctively ignored the calls from behind.
Suddenly, he was grabbed by the white skull of Zaire, who stood expressionless.
"Ah! Master, please spare me!"
Before he could finish his plea, Zaire instructed him to repair the Valkyrie transport ship and inspect the Destroyer's metal wreckage.
Reditus immediately relaxed.
He shifted into a fervent technician state, even the red glow in his eyes flickering nonstop.
Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
The anti-gravity engines hummed as mechanical pincers snapped back and forth.
Muttering a prayer, Reditus's servo skull sped toward the underground hangar.
Zaire watched his retreating figure, shaking his head slightly.
He casually removed his Hunter Knight armor.
Just as he was about to head to the rest room, something caught his mind.
Zaire found Jessica, who was in the middle of shooting practice.
He asked her to stop for a moment.
"Jessica, go watch over the unconscious man in the medical room. If he wakes up, come find me."
The blue wolf-boy Zaire looked at Jessica, speaking slowly.
"By the way, if he tries to resist, just beat him senseless. Don't kill him."
Upon hearing Zaire's command, Jessica, holding two laser pistols, nodded with confusion.
"No problem, boss."
With a satisfied expression, Zaire turned and walked away.
He went to the rest room, quickly washed off the sweat, and then laid down on the cold metal bed.
Gradually, he drifted into sleep.
When Zaire opened his eyes again, the sounds of loud crashes from outside the rest room made him furrow his brow instinctively.
He took a deep breath and sprang off the bed, walking toward the door.
He opened the metal door and immediately saw Jessica pulling on the metal arm of Bucky Barnes, who was swinging it around.
Meanwhile, Reditus's servo skull, laughing, hovered around the two, bouncing in the air.
Its mechanical voice was filled with a mischievous tone.
"Young man, just give me your arm, and I'll let her go... how about it?"
Unfortunately, Bucky, who had fallen unconscious again, couldn't answer any of these questions.
"Ah, boss!"
At that moment, Jessica, with sharp eyes, noticed Zaire standing there, emotionless.
She quickly released Bucky's arm, causing the poor man to crash heavily onto the metal floor.
Zaire stepped forward, first checking on Bucky's condition.
After confirming that he was just back into unconsciousness, Zaire looked at Jessica and asked softly:
"Tell me, what happened?"
Jessica, instinctively clasping her hands together, blinked rapidly.
She nervously swallowed before cautiously replying:
"Boss, after he woke up, he tried to escape. I caught up to him. You said I could beat him, so I did... Reditus happened to pass by and immediately took a liking to his mechanical arm..."
"Boss! I really wasn't bullying him, it was all Reditus's fault!"
After speaking, Zaire narrowed his eyes slightly.
He listened carefully to Jessica's beating heart with his sharp hearing.
Then, he nodded toward her.
"Alright, this is none of your business now. Go back to your training."
"Oh…"
Jessica nodded slightly.
She shot a glare at the floating Reditus and quickly ran toward the training area.
Zaire raised his chin slightly and watched the servo skull, who was trying to sneak away.
He bared his teeth.
"Within a day, if you don't come up with a design blueprint for a knockoff Terminator, I'll melt you with the Space Necromancer's Gauss explosive gun! Understand?"
"Woe is me—"
In the next moment, Reditus let out a long, drawn-out wail.
But knowing it was at fault, it didn't try to haggle.
Instead, it quickly flew toward the metal round table.
"Hmph…"
Zaire watched the retreating back of the servo skull.
He instinctively licked his fangs.
Then, he bent down, picked up the unconscious Bucky, and walked toward the medical room.
Once Bucky was thrown onto the multifunctional bed, Zaire dragged a metal chair over and sat beside him.
He planned to wait for Bucky to wake up and see if they could communicate.
However, after a few minutes, feeling a bit bored from forgetting his phone, Zaire began to tap his foot.
He hesitated for a moment, then opened the simulator page.
He decided to find something to do to pass the time.
