The voice of Wen Liang broke the tense atmosphere between the siblings.
Mo Su turned her head, her lips blossoming into a shallow smile as she met Jiang Yisheng's cool green gaze.
"I apologize for causing Mr. Jiang amusement. When a younger brother is disobedient, he deserves to be taught a lesson."
Mo Su released her grip and Mo Chen stepped back, wincing as pain shot through his wrist.
Jiang Yisheng withdrew his hand and, with light steps, subtly moved to protect Mo Chen behind him.
"Words like those are fine, but there's still no need for violence."
Mo Su raised her hand to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, speaking unhurriedly, "As the saying goes, every family has its own difficult scripture that's hard to recite. It's best for outsiders not to interfere too much in family matters. Don't you agree, Mr. Jiang?"
Jiang Yisheng's expression paused faintly, "Mo Chen, go wait in the car."
