The sonorous, booming peals echo between heaven and earth, awakening all the monks inside the Celestial Dragon Temple, whether they are chanting sutras, meditating, or undergoing arduous closed-door cultivation; upon hearing the bell, they all cease what they're doing.
And gather in front of the Great Buddha Hall.
The monks look at one another, "What on earth happened?"
