Melinda saw her neighbor—a Rabbit Girl holding a baby—cheerfully chatting away with a group of young girls.
She spotted Anta and immediately screamed as she stood up. If she weren't holding the child, she probably would've rushed over.
But Melinda didn't make her wait. The two Rabbit Spirits happily leaned into each other as Anta enthusiastically introduced her newest creation to Melinda.
"Seeing young people reunite with old friends really warms my heart," the old general exclaimed with genuine comfort.
"Indeed, but to be honest, I always thought your grandson bringing her home was just a spur-of-the-moment thing," the old man said, crossing his arms and sighing.
"You little old man. My grandson's a good man. I didn't like that Rabbit Demon at first, but she really loves my grandson. You can't fake the way someone looks at the person they love," the old general said, then glanced at Durin. "What do you think, Durin?"
