"This will do." Arriving at the gate of her mansion, Tilan stepped down from the carriage, still cradling the candy jar gifted by Lagertis.
"Well then, good night and goodbye~" Ores waved to Tilan from inside the carriage, before driving away.
It was nearing 1 o'clock in the night, but the mansion was still brightly lit. As Tilan opened the gate with her identification, she was greeted by the maids lined up on both sides of the courtyard's main path.
"Welcome back, Lady Ti Lan." They bowed in unison, and then two of them approached to take the candy jar from her arms.
"Would you like a bath, Lady Ti Lan? The bathroom is already prepared."
"Would you care for some supper? According to a healthy diet, you can eat a little before bed to avoid hunger and sleeplessness during the night."
The maids surrounded Tilan as she returned to the mansion, swiftly serving up a simple late-night snack. The candy jar was also placed in a corner of the study.
