Over a decade had passed.
Yu Xi was quite surprised.
She pulled someone along, looking at the shop owner inside.
"Oh my, it really is that uncle!"
Yu Xi said with a smile, "Uncle, you're still running the tofu stall here, huh."
The small shop was only about ten square meters, with two or three little tables.
The uncle poked his head out from the kitchen.
"Oh, yes, yes, did the young lady eat here before?"
Yu Xi laughed, "Uncle, I used to come here all the time; I went to elementary school around here. My name is Yu Xi. You probably don't remember me anymore, but that Grandma Yu from Chen Family Lane who sat at the village entrance knitting sweaters every day, that was my grandma."
The uncle was taken aback.
He quickly leaned out to get a closer look at Yu Xi.
"Oh, Yu Xi, Yu Xi, I know, Grandma Yu, she... ah, has passed away quite a few years now."
Yu Xi's face also dimmed upon hearing this, and then she said, "Yes, it's been eight years."
