Chapter 233 - 233 The Pot Shadow And The Good Friend

After warming up, Lynch moved on to the main event.

"System, initiate a hundred draws."

[Ding! -100,000 faith points spent in the prize pool draw.]

[Congratulations to the Host for obtaining the ninjutsu scroll: Wind Style - Wind Pressure.]

[Congratulations to the Host for obtaining the ninjutsu scroll: Fire Style - Fire Dragon Flame Song.]

[Congratulations to the Host for obtaining the item: Ichiraku Ramen.]

[Congratulations to the Host for obtaining the item: Pencil.]

[Congratulations to the Host for obtaining the item: A Box of Gold.]

...

[Congratulations to the Host for obtaining the ninja: Shimura Danzo.]

"Wait, what?!"

Lynch paused, realizing he'd drawn something significant. Shimura Danzo—the infamous "The Darkness of Shinobi"

There's one universal truth about Danzo: whenever something bad happens, and the culprit is unknown, Danzo is the first suspect.

Shimura Danzo was the embodiment of cunning, sinister, and ruthlessness.

Yet, Lynch had to admit the man possessed undeniable leadership qualities, an unwavering resolve, and an uncanny ability to inspire loyalty—even to the point of death.

He had strength, brain, caution, and a complete lack of trust in others—qualities Lynch considered perfect for his ideal candidate.

With a sudden flash of white light, Shimura Danzo materialized in the room.

From the outside, he looks about sixty or seventy years old, with a stern look that is not easy to mess with.

There was a thick bandage wrapped around his head, and his right eye was also wrapped in a bandage. He was wearing a loose kimono, and his right arm was wrapped in a metal shackle.

"This is where?"

Shimura Danzō looked around with a slight confusion

"I was just at the Five Kage Summit, using Shisui's Sharingan to control Mifune. I was discovered and I should be on my way back to the village now."

As his gaze fell on Lynch, Danzo suddenly clutched his head, wincing in pain. Memories surged through his mind, foreign yet familiar.

After a long pause, he straightened, his expression tinged with disbelief. "Lynch-sama?"

"It seems you've caught up," Lynch said, stepping forward and patting Danzo on the shoulder.

"I won't waste time explaining this world. Just know this—do your job well here, and who knows, I might just make you Hokage after all."

Danzo's eyes gleamed with interest. "Understood. I won't disappoint you."

After being summoned by Lynch, Shimura Danzo's loyalty was maxed out—surpassing even the respect he held for his mentor, Senju Tobirama.

Though Danzo was infamous for his treachery and manipulative nature, once under Lynch's command, these qualities became assets rather than liabilities.

"It's just… that face…" Lynch muttered, unable to shake his distaste.

Hokage had been one of Lynch's favorite childhood anime. Remembering the countless misdeeds Danzo had committed, Lynch couldn't help but feel a lingering urge to punch the old man whenever he saw him.

The mention of "Hokage," however, struck a nerve in Danzo. Achieving the title of Hokage had been his lifelong ambition, a dream that consumed him.

"Lynch-sama, command me as you see fit. I'll carry out any task you need," Danzo declared passionately, his demeanor entirely deferential.

"Good. Stay nearby for now—I'm going to find you some helpers," Lynch replied, planning his next move.

Danzo would serve as the leader, and with a few skilled allies, he would be more than capable of managing the North Blue.

Lynch resumed his lottery draws.

On the 200th draw, no ninjas appeared, but an array of strange and powerful weapons materialized.

On the 300th draw, Lynch finally get lucky. Mangekyō Sasuke, the teenage version wielding the Mangekyō Sharingan, emerged from the light.

With his Mangekyō Sharingan abilities and the raw power of his second-stage development, Sasuke was a force to be reckoned with.

Sasuke's strength during this stage was impressive. While he hadn't yet unlocked the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, he was already capable of using Susanoo, his chakra-armored "Gundam."

This made him a valuable addition to Lynch's growing roster.

With plenty of points still available, Lynch pressed on with his draws.

On the 400th draw: Two strong ninjas appeared—Rock Lee and Neji Hyuga, both fully matured and at the top of their game among the Konoha 12.

On the 500th draw: No ninjas emerged.

On the 600th draw: Still no sign of a ninja.

The draws produced a variety of items and resources. Among them were vast amounts of ninjutsu supplies, enough to potentially recreate Konoha Village in this world.

However, the two worlds' training systems were fundamentally different.

In this world, people couldn't learn ninjutsu because they lacked chakra, which was a fusion of mental and physical energy. They could only marvel at it without ever using it.

On the flip side, individuals from the Hokage world had no such limitations. They could easily adapt to and master abilities like Haki and the Marine Six Styles, demonstrating incredible growth potential.

"It's strange," Lynch thought.

Perhaps when people from the Hokage world crossed into this one, their bodies became assimilated into its rules—just as he had.

After all, Lynch himself wasn't originally from this world.

On the 700th draw, another major figure arrived: Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen!

Hahahahaha!

He knew it! He knew that the lottery pool was holding a big one for him.

If this is Hiruzen from his prime—his middle-aged heyday or even the Impure World Reincarnation state—then he's at full Admiral strength!

Even if this version was from his older, weaker years, with the right Haki training, Sarutobi could still reach a level comparable to an Admiral.

As golden light illuminated the room, it was clear this Hokage's arrival was special. His entrance stood apart from others.

An elderly, kind-looking man who seemed close to seventy appeared. Clad in his Hokage robe, he held a pipe in his hand. His demeanor radiated authority and wisdom.

"Where am I?" Sarutobi Hiruzen asked, his brow furrowing in confusion.

"Wasn't I watching the Chūnin Exams, co-hosted by Sand and Konoha?"

His warm, wrinkled face expressed puzzlement.

"Hi… Hiruzen!"

Across the room, Danzo's eyes widened as he stared at his old friend and rival, disbelief etched on his face. Seeing someone he thought long dead appear before him left him utterly speechless.

From the look in Danzo's eyes, Lynch could see a mix of emotions—three parts nostalgia, three parts shock, three parts worry, and one part joy.

Lynch silently swore this was the first time he'd ever seen someone display such a complex blend of expressions.

"Is this what true love looks like?"

"Danzo?"

 "Hiruzen, aren't you dead!?"

"You're the one who's dead!" Hiruzen retorted, raising an eyebrow.

"And what's with your strange outfit today, Danzo?"

After a lengthy and somewhat awkward exchange, the two realized something shocking: they were not from the same timeline!

This revelation only deepened their admiration for Lynch.

"What kind of man is this?" Danzo thought.

"He can summon people from completely different points in time!"

"So… I die trying to seal Orochimaru's hands?" Hiruzen muttered as he sat on a chair, puffing on his pipe with a somber expression.

The thought clearly fell heavily on him, filling the room with a tense silence.

Looking at Danzo laughing at Sarutobi Hiruzen, Lynch couldn't help but think, You're not much better—you sealed a bridge before you died.

Even their methods of death were eerily similar. Are these two the epitome of frenemies?

"I wonder if Konoha can withstand Orochimaru's attack without me," Sarutobi Hiruzen muttered, a cloud of smoke curling around him as he puffed on his pipe.

Though relieved he wouldn't have to face his grim fate, the thought of Konoha's safety left him melancholic.

"You need to stay optimistic," Lynch interjected, walking over and spinning a hopeful tale.

"You know, I can summon anyone from any timeline."

"Since you're both here, why not work hard? Maybe one day, I can summon everyone from Konoha Village."

He leaned closer, his voice dropping for impact. "Even your long-lost loved ones—I could bring them back."

As Lynch's words sunk in, the once-dim eyes of the two men began to shine.

Hiruzen and Danzo exchanged a glance filled with newfound hope, their anticipation for the future growing with every word.
