Chapter 15 - Chapter 15

Omashu.

[Kizer POV]

I laid my back on my stone throne, looking at the woman in front of me whom I consider very smart for a mortal, that's why I have put her as the strategist of the organization that I created. Huan had a calm look outside, but I can sense how nervous she was. She is usually nervous around me, but this time it intensified a lot. I couldn't help but feel amusement inside, getting an idea of what she's about to say.

"Kizer, the Earth Kingdom has launched a massive offensive against the Rebel Army and Fire Nation." She said, her expression failing to hide her fear. "They are able to capture multiple supply routes and send strong reinforcements back to the frontline, causing the Fire Nation to fall back, losing many cities they captured in the process."

I placed the golden pipe in my mouth and smoked from it. I looked at the beautiful ceiling my creations built for me as I blew the smoke out. Even though the Rebel Army is not directly part of my forces, they're still acting based on my goals and will follow my every order. They even had multiple masters that I've personally trained for a bit, especially Lian, yet they dare to lose? Lian might be the weakest on the Ten Pillars, but he's still considered one of the most powerful benders outside of my hidden army, yet he has not only been defeated but also caused my plans to be affected. I don't really feel angry at it—not that I ever did when I took that bottle. I just don't think that killing him and replacing him now could really benefit my goals, it could even potentially block further advancement to it, since he and his army were the only ones with the ability to weaken both Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom simultaneously, and I don't plan on revealing my army just quickly, I just found it amusing to see my creations fight for my goals. Though I might punish him severely if I ever thought of doing so for disrupting my plans again. Due to my silence, I can hear Huan's heart beating fast, she must be getting scared right now.

Well, she's right to be respectful and fearful of her creator, but I remember that day when I killed someone close to her brutally for standing against me in front of her. That's the day that she truly feared me, and even though I killed that man, she never did anything against me, nor did she probably think of one. She even became more submissive that day and followed my words without hesitation.

"Tell Lian to fall back for now, rebuild his army again," I said.

I then used my metal bending and controlled the metal beneath Huan. It started heading upwards and shaping into something sharp, when it finally reached her neck, it instantly cut a layer of her skin without bending it due to its sharpness. Huan didn't move, she just closed her eyes and accepted whatever punishment I gave. This is probably the first time I did this to her, since she always accomplished whatever command I gave her. After a while, I retracted the metal back to the floor, and it came back to its former design like nothing ever happened.

"I don't want to hear something like this again, Huan," I said before taking a smoke again. "Prove your worth to me, there's no point in keeping a worthless thing if there's an immediate replacement."

"I- I understand, Kizer," Huan said.

No Loing City, Huan Palace.

[Huan POV]

Kizer is angry at me. It's the last thing in this world or in this life that I ever want directed at me, I only want to be beside him even without being acknowledged and praised for everything I did. Being beside him and one of the important people who can directly help him with his plan was enough to prove that I was worth something in his eyes, and now Kizer has warned me about my worth. My anxiety struck again, and I couldn't help but clench the clothes above the skin of my heart.

"Lian, that bastard was at fault for making this happen!" I shouted, slamming the wall beside me and causing it to crack.

I wanted to kill that bastard immediately at this moment, but I couldn't do that for now. He's still a member of the Ten Pillars and still the leader of the Rebel Army. If he died suddenly, I would have to create another group of rebels and restart the process of creating the Rebel Army again from scratch. I will have to be patient for now. Once Kizer sees that Lian has become worthless, I will be the one that personally kills him.

"Zero-one!" I said.

I felt the wall behind me open up as Zero-one slowly revealed himself and bowed, he was one of my messengers and the strongest Earth bender under me. My other messengers were quick in their jobs of delivering my messages and commands to others, but I want to make sure that this new order from Kizer won't be late in arriving to Lian so he can't do more foolishness with his beaten army. I'm confident that despite his small brain that he was now hiding with his smaller army, but he is a fighting monger, and when he sees any opportunities to fight, he will do so even if he has to sacrifice his soldiers as he did before, causing this major defeat. So I have to be able to give Kizer's message to him as quickly as possible, so he can contain his foolish behavior at last, since I know that he fears Kizer more than he loves fighting.

"My lady," Zero-one said, bowing.

"Find Lian and tell him to continue hiding for now and rebuild his army again. Tell him that "He" personally said it," I said.

"Yes," Zero-one said before he opened the ground beneath him using his bending and dropped himself underground.
