[Launching Citadel…]
A man jumped back slightly in his seat, his eyes widening as he gazed at the multiple screens before him. All of them displayed Citadel's loading screen. Panic quickly swelled in his chest, his breathing growing heavy and fast.
"What—what's going on?" His lips quivered, his complexion paling. "How—how did she get into my system?"
How?
When?
"No!" he yelled, pulling himself back toward the desk to stop the attack. As a hacker, he knew that once Citadel launched, Penny would have control over his system. He could only imagine what would happen next.
It would be bad.
"Shit, shit, shit! How can she do this?!" The man gritted his teeth, his shoulders tensing as he tried to fight it off. Glancing at the other screen, he saw Penny still working on the computer. "Shit! How—how could she do that?!"
"Why did no one tell me that woman actually knows how to hack?!"
