Polly soared gracefully through the air, tirelessly ferrying people one by one from the ships to the floating island. It took a while—a long while, honestly—but eventually, every last person stood on the Floating Island of Vensalor, their feet finally planted on solid—well, floating—ground.
And the moment they were all gathered?
Cheers erupted.
Laughter, shouts of amazement, and utter joy echoed across the wide plateau of the island.
People spun around to take in the view. Some knelt and touched the ground. Others just stood there, stunned by the beauty of the shimmering lake, the glinting barrier overhead, and the potential of the land beneath their feet.
A group of Vensalor Guild members quickly surrounded Broken.
"This is incredible, Broken!" said Jovina. "You had a place this amazing and kept it a secret all to yourself?"
"If only I could bring people here more easily, you know," Broken replied, throwing up his hands. "Not exactly accessible by public ferry."
